The guy can contradict himself three ways to Sunday like with Rev. Wright and the media just fawns on. I had to turn off MSNBC after watching Contessa with her analysts.
It was her and the Rat analyst against the Republican one. And she’s sitting there comparing the Cold War actions of President’s negotiating with China and the Soviet Union, where planning was rigid before any Presidential conversation could proceed to Iran.
What an idiot! She actually needed the Republican analyst to explain it to her.
She was so dense she just kept on mouthing the Obama position.

The DNC would pull a Torecelli and replace Obama IF he (Obama) were White. Since he is black, they can’t afford to offend their black voting block, so they are stuck with him.
That’s going to be a failed strategy. The obvious reason why Bush’s “approval rating” are low is that he does not engage his political opposition in any timely manner. The president lets months go by before he engages the Dems. And it’s obvious that McCain does not equal Bush. If Bush does hammer the Dems on a daily basis from now until the election, you will see his “approval numbers” jump 10 to 15% higher.
Note post 116. America was instrumental in Hamas' participation in the elections. We need to recognize mistakes if we're not to repeat them. And as I noted GWB has made this mistake multiple times, in Lebanon, in Iraq.
Obviously Obama would be worse, he'd be building an Embassy in Gaza.

Just 2 days ago, Hamas launched an Iranian-made Grad missile at Ashkelon, a major Israeli city, and it hit a shopping mall.
They are getting a lot more of these.
The Strip is an Iranian base. Lebanon is an Iranian base. Iraq will be an Iranian base if we leave.
I agree, the Bush admin. made a terrible mistake when they did not insist upon ostracizing Hamas and excluding them completely from any election or political process.
Sometimes Rs do falter, too often in fact. But the Demagogues are far more consistently proving to be appeasement weasels.
The whole Oslo process has been a disaster, anyway, and that is a Clintonista fiasco. There should have been the most stringent possible requirements and verification for any Arafat/PLO participation in Gaza and the West Bank. There should have been the most stringent requirements for renunciation of terrorism and incitement on every level.
Instead, the Clintonistas turned the territories over to the PLO, armed them, and allowed just about the worst outcome imaginable. The fiasco with Hamas has been an extension of the same kind of muddled liberal thinking.
But at least Bush and most Rs have times when they display more backbone, whereas weasels like Obama and Carter NEVER have any backbone.

Seems to me that most of the people at the DU just want Iran to cease to be an issue. They don’t want it on Obama’s radar screen. There is no way they can applaud Obama for saying that Iran has to give up nukes, supporting terrorism, or meddling in the region. That, to the average DU member, is picking on Iran.

Obama needs only to respond with feelings with the Dems.
However, the General Election may go a bit deeper; possibly
requiring some reasoning for which Obama has little of.
What’s truly amazing is that guy with rabbit ears like Obama sat in that church for 20 years with the hate spewing from the altar and he never heard a word of it. A truly sophisticated set of rabbit ears.

This may be the most brilliant political trap I’ve ever seen. In a few short remarks, Bush has completely shifted all of the discussion to appeasing terrorists. Obama took the bait. And he’s self destructing before our eyes. We’ve got to hand it to W, he loaded the weapon, handed it to B.O. and Barack fired it at himself over and over at this press conference. And he promised to shoot himself more in the future; “anytime, anywhere!”
It’s a shame that he might do this before locking up the nomination. It will be interesting to see if the hyenas in press devour his carcass now that they smell blood from a gaping wound. Of course, his staff is now in total damage control and he’ll answer these questions better in the future. I wonder if we’ll see his anger in the days to come like we saw today.
We’ve got to get this up on Youtube, clips need to be excerpted and analyzed, his lies deconstructed, his sophistry exposed, his quotes from this conference need to be pamphletized, force the issue on the media, keep the full court press going and grind him in the gears of the machine… And pray the super delegates stay with him and that the Clintons don‘t have a video of Michelle blaming “Whitey“ from the pulpit of Wright‘s church.
