Yes, he did. And I don't trust him on that issue any more than I do his statements that he's going to secure the border. He's not a conservative and he wants illegal immigration. Anything he says to the contrary is--how can I put this--an expedient lie.

Clint, there is no logic. That is the issue with McCain. He cannot think things through. Look at Amnesty, Campaign Finance, WOT, etc. He is incoherent. He does one thing or says one thing without thinking about the results. For me it is not just one thing, it is the body of work. It just makes no sense. The man just does not think.

I proudly voted for him for the senate in 1986 and 1992. He was a fine senator back then. That’s what makes his subsequent betrayals even worse.
I used to have a real nice personalized autographed picture of him. It would have been worth some bucks if he wins. I ripped it up after one of his many betrayals. I didn’t want a picture of a liberal in my house. But somewhere in my stuff is a picture I had taken with him. It hasn’t been destroyed yet.
