AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

If they really have a “bomb” to drop on Obama, wonder why on earth have they waited so long and clocked up $20 million in debt.

Actually, abortion and stopping it means a great deal to me. It is interesting that I just heard Rush echo my same thoughts about McCain just before coming back from lunch and listening to him.

McCain specifically said he would NOT appoint someone like Alito because he wore his conservatism on his sleeve -

McCain said Supreme Court Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito "would serve as the model for my own nominees if that responsibility falls to me,"

Half of what you said is BS and the other is an independent statement not linked to your BS conclusion.

He also voted for Ginsburg without blinking his beady little eyes.

So did a lot of republicans but he didn't nominate her fool. Back then republicans allowed presidents to appoint judges, times have changed if you paid attention.

But you go ahead and vote symbolism over substance, it's in the best moonbat tradition.

I agree on Reagan. It was one of his greatest blind spots, but understandable. But McCain is even more clueless. He’s gonna close Gitmo, subject us to an international veto before using armed force? Sorry. Let Obama do it an pin it on the Dems. And we WILL have to confront Iran, and McCain isn’t up to it any more than Hillobama are. (Actually, Hillary may be more ruthless, and I might actually have more confidence in her.)

As for Barack Obama, 25% Democrats say he should drop out. That’s down from 22% following the Pennsylvania Primary,

25% is DOWN from 22%??

After the 06 election I said on the Rush thread that America is entering it’s own “Dark Ages” for just that reason.

It's as though the Republican Party has a death wish. And I don't think you're exaggerating by much. If the Democrats gain and keep total control over American politics, our culture, and the economy, and enough illegals flood the country to change our national character from American to third-world, and the Islamofascists succeed in infiltrating our institutions and then taking them over, that's exactly where we'll be--the world of 1,000 years ago.

I need a drink.

Actually, abortion and stopping it means a great deal to me.

With your candidate Obama it's a certainty he will nominate pro-abortion judges, with McQueeg it's not.

LOL. Speaking of lying to yourself, why don't you repeat over and over, "McCain is a conservative," and you'll believe it?

Yes, I'm a fortune teller. I guarantee you this: if McCain gets in, he'll make Bush 41 look like Barry Goldwater. Taxes will go up; the environmental weenies will run business into the ground; the US will absolutely lose its international business position; Gitmo will be closed; the terrorists will laugh at us while McCain seeks international "approval" of necessary military action; and the illegals will pour in.

John Fund, “Then there is the issue of judicial nominations, a top priority with conservatives. Nothing would improve Mr. McCain’s standing with conservatives more than a forthright restatement of his previously stated view that “one of our greatest problems in America today is justices that legislate from the bench.” Mr. McCain bruised his standing with conservatives on the issue when in 2005 he became a key player in the so-called gang of 14, which derailed an effort to end Democratic filibusters of Bush judicial nominees. More recently, Mr. McCain has told conservatives he would be happy to appoint the likes of Chief Justice John Roberts to the Supreme Court. But he indicated he might draw the line on a Samuel Alito, because “he wore his conservatism on his sleeve.””

Happy to appoint...happy to appoint...happy to appoint Spector.

I don't see McCain showing the slightest sense of what the larger battlefield looks like.

That is an excellent point, and one I hadn't considered. With his clearly-demonstrated adherence to liberal economics and cultural values, on what principle would McCain fight the Islamofascist war?

I’ve done quite a bit of research on Obama, and everything about his background is Marxist.

According to Obama’s sister, Obama became enthralled with socialism at Occidental College in CA. His advisors there, told him that if he wanted to make his mark in politics, he would be more successful if he transferred to Columbia.

His first job, after graduation, was for the Gemaliel Foundation, as a trainer in Saul Alinsky organizing methods. He trained the community activist groups. Now, what is interesting about the Gemaliel foundation is that it was named after a man who was supposed to have been a sort of mentor to the apostle Paul. Gemaliel was a Sadducite and a member of the Sanhedrin. The story is that Gemaliel advised the Sanhedrin not to persecute the Christians because if Christianity was not of God, it would die a natural death. The importance of Gemaliel is not explained, but it is insinuated that the Marxist have taken the same attitude toward Christianity and decided to take parts of it and leave the rest. Saul Alinsky considered the apostle Paul to be the greatest organizer of all time and modeled his mehtods after Paul. Paul basicly promoted socialism through Christianity.

Black Liberation Theology does the same thing, models Paul and supports the spread of socialism through Christian history.

Would he seal the border trying to prevent terrorists from coming in? (I don't think so).

Would he act unilaterally to strike a nation like Iran if, say, France and Germany objected? (I don't think so).

Would he actually LOOK at evidence that global warming is silly? (Nyet.)

I know some otherwise good conservatives that are always ranting against free trade. I try to correct them, but it falls on deaf ears.

I wish they would read "Basic Economics" by Thomas Sowell. That would keep them occupied for a while, readjusting their thinking!
