Travis Childers, elected U.S. House, District 1, Mississippi. [Note: This is an AP bulletin - nothing follows]
It hasn't been quick - the groundwork has been laid for years. It's just that everyone ignored the warning signs.
I am reminded of the move “Civil Action” where the lawfirm is going under and right before the Travolta’s character makes the deal where Macy says, “Next time. Ha. That’s a laugh “next time.” Only next time ask us if you want us to go down with you!!” [To Bush...]
It’s past time to truly create a Conservative Party while the Republican Party truly dies a slow death. Conservatives need to seriously plan their next moves which will be happening while, at the same time, the U.S. is turned into a third world socialistic country. This may require another civil war to occur. Deny all of this at your own risk, and you will also be indirectly helping the political left to become even stronger for the long-term. For starters, all political correctness all over the world truly needs to be seriously and successfully reversed to the best of human abilities until it’s truly, seriously, and successfully eliminated all over the world to the best of human abilities and for always. We seriously need some big time brainstorming about how to successfully get rid of all political correctness all over the world.
Search my posting history and see the last time I criticized Bush. Been awile. I’m sorry but I’m up to HERE with it. This election has me over the edge.
And, who has been in charge of Congress for the last several years? huh
Can anything be done to keep McCain from speaking at the Republican National Convention this year?
I am afraid the decline of the Bush presidency started even before that.
“It will be difficult for the ‘Rats to win congressional seats in Republican states with “Osama” Obama heading their ticket.”
THIS is the elephant in the room that NOBODY wants to talk about.
Obama is simply UNELECTABLE, by any standard we have known, so far.
And the down-ticket drag, along with his Demographic patterns already tell us the D’s will make HUGE gains in the cities, while getting crushed everywhere else.
CNN’s “Red-Blue” county vote map will be so sharp and clear this year, that it will boggle the mind.
Yep, ‘Bag it and Tag it’ - They are actually worse than the Demos, most have betrayed their base and turned into a bunch of touchy feelies, traitors all - good riddance!
“talking to your neighbors”
Ha. I live in urban Maryland. You could hardly find people less acquiescent to Bush, Republicans, or conservatives.
Try the “Falcon Party”.
Just saw it tonight, has it’s own website, platform etc.
Sorry, I’ve been everywhere Man!
Can’t remember where I saw the link... prolly here on the Senate votes down Anwr link Top breaking news upper right.
Try the day the rioting began after we sacked Baghdad.
I don't think this would have happened if Mike Pence and John Shadegg were in leadership. That would be real reform and real change. That would get our base back. That would keep the social conservative and get fiscal conservatives back as well. Right now democrats are polling better on taxes and spending of all issues. That's pathetic, and it's because our party screwed things up.
I'm only a republican right now because of the democrats, but right now all I can say as reasons are guns, judges, and that we suck less on other issues. We shouldn't suck at all.
In America today, only the critic counts.
No matter how unproductive.
Conservatism is at it's best in times of crisis. We're the political religion of wars and balanced budgets. The great Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush rallied the country. But like it or not and fair or not, we are being blamed for what is wrong right now, and no amount of positive thinking can change that at the moment.
We’re all over the edge!
But you will not change one heart or mind with all of that negativity.
Screw the Pary but encourage Conservatism when you can.
“When Democrats are trying to tie John McCain to Bush you know its bad.”
Actually, this is a HUGE Tactical mistake on the Democrats part, and it’s being driven largely by the Nutroots desire for “Vindication” of thier 8 year hatred of Bush, and all the BS they’ve been fedm by thier 527’s.
McCain is NOT bush, and any attempt to paint him with that brush is going to be a failure.
