Anybody see the movie “V For Vendetta”?

Sounds like a plan to me. I can’t stay pissed at the GOP forever.

How about everyone just stay home from work for a week, stay home, spend no money, in protest?
with nobody working, nobody is paying into taxes and the money is what gets the government’s attention that the people are really, really pissed.
And yes, it is time for a new political movement.

Why the hell not.
There’s not much left to lose at this point except for a continuation of the criminal idiocy pretending at leadership in washington.
It’s high time to hoist the Jolly Roger and start cutting throats. Metaphorically speaking of course!

Here’s the sound-bite version of what I want a presidential candidate to promise:
1. Abolish the IRS
2. Cut spending
3. Ignore the tree-huggers
4. Secure the borders
5. Kill the terrorists
6. Smack the hippies
If the Falcon Party is for all of these, count me in.

I don’t much care for the fealty to nobility, as it sounds too much like a longing for a monarchical influence.

Just what we need. Another loser 3rd (4th, 5th, 6th?) party. If you can’t get a plurality of Republicans go along with you, why think you can get a majority of the general public?

Damn, this looks exactly like what I’ve been waiting for. What an incredible breath of fresh air!
Went to the website and it reads like it was written by the Founders themselves.
I signed up, and urge all FReepers to do the same, then alert everyone on their email lists to do likewise.
Thanks, Pissant.

All great points, as usual. Just realize this one thing. ‘They’ have us so divided and so battered by so many screwed up issues, that there are rarely enough of us to make a difference. It happened with some of their immigration pushes, but other than that, we’re all in a dozen different directions. Now, the illegal aliens and Latinos and Muslims KNOW what they want and they hammer it every day and march in our streets by the millions. The know how to get the job done.
Until we unite enough to hammer one issue at a time so hard they can’t ignore us, it’s going to stay just as it is.
The abolishionists and suffergettes, prohibitionists practiced this. They didn’t need a party to change things.
I think the powers that be are tickled pink watching us all run in a dozen directions at once.

After hearing McCain talk on "climate change." I got a sickening feeling in my gut that no matter who wins this fall, conservatives will have been left behind. No one is courting our vote and frankly, none of the top three deserve it. (I'll vote McCain only for the SCOTUS possibility.)
Today it really hit me that our conservative voice is being silenced. I was going to search for a way to make it heard again. Maybe this is it.
Thanks for the post, pissant. I like what I see so far.
