Yesterday, I received a letter from Tim Morgan, the RNC Treasurer, asking for a donation. I was disgusted by the tone of the letter and decided to respond to him.
Dear Mr. Morgan,
I am insulted and offended by your letter. How dare you try to insinuate that I abandoned the Republican Party.
Please understand the facts, it was not me who abandoned the Republican Party, it was the leadership that abandoned the core principles of the Republican Party.
Your letter asks for a donation because you want to stop the Democrats. Thats not a convincing argument.
First let me know what the leadership stands for and then Ill decide if I want to donate. Also:
I absolutely and completely reject all of your arguments that say we need to put President Ronald Reagan behind us. It was President Reagan who actually believed in our core principles, ran on them, and enacted them.
Help me out here Mr. Morgan. Why should I give the RNC any of my hard earned money, and I dont have a lot of it.
Please explain to me why there is no one from the Republican Party talking about our core principles.
What do you actually believe in.
Until you can address my questions and concerns you will continue to not hear from me.
If you have the courage and want to contact me, feel free and do so.
All the best,
Save your money...
Buy a gun, you’re going to need it.
Be sure the gun you buy starts with “.4....”
Great letter!
If you used the return envelope, consider resending it with a hand-addressed letter to the treasurer. The return envelope goes, most likely, to a contracted fulfillment center where people will open it and look for a check to process. If there is no check, the contents get tossed in a pile, and may not get read.
I worked on a campaign that used a “fulfillment center” and if it was not money, it was ignored. Google up “fulfillment center” fundraising to see firms who do this work, opening envelopes and processing checks.
as conservatives we must think of which candidate will help or hurt the nation most, or least. Think of the nation first, conservatism second
a half loaf is better than none.
They need to receive thousands and thousands of letters just like yours. Even at that I don’t have much faith in them getting it. There should be a three party system, the Democrats, the Republicans (same as Democrats) and then the Conservative Party.

I'm no longer a Republican! I'm searching for a Conservative party.
I live in Steny Hoyer’s district.
I talk to people who live and work in here. For the most part, they are more conservative than him. But, I’ve heard DOD civilians and contractors talk about how they vote for him, because he makes sure military projects come to the area. I’ve even heard them say that he supports the military for no other reason. On the occasion that he does come down and speak, it is all down home cornbread and fried chicken and did I tell ya about this story when I.....
Patronage, pure and simple. The more I read of the Romans the more I realize that we are exactly like them in the most important manners.
Fair and reasonable questions, Good job!
That’s much more polite than the responses I gave before they stopped sending me letters.
My response is simple. Send me a conservative candidate and I’ll send you some money.
Yes.
They made the mistake of sending me a survey and a plea for money the day after my candidate (an actual conservative) left the race...leaving us with only RINO’s. My black sharpie came in handy. “NOT ONE CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE? NOT ONE RED PENNY.”
They know that the conservative base is not with them and they don't care. The Republican Party is DOA.
So get a job with the government.
Excellent.
Such irony. For years I too have sensed a coming war with the left, but we’ll likely have to take to the streets with McCain’s Democrats too. Damned mindless groupies are taking America straight to hell.
I can’t believe that they sent me a “dun” notice demanding that I pay up immediately! Where’s that picture of the Hell sign with the icicles?!
But you get to keep the Republican membership card as their gift to you...
I routinely reply to their surveys with “What would Reagan do?” to each question.
Bumped and saved as next Letter` To RNC! ;-)
>> I cant believe that they sent me a dun notice demanding that I pay up immediately!
Mrs. Tick showed me one we each got in the mail today. It’s some dumb survey, and it ends with 3 choices:
1) I support the RNC, and I’ll contribute $xxx
2) I support the RNC, but I can’t contribute at this time. However I’m enclosing $11 to pay the cost of “tabulating” my “survey”. [snicker]
3) No, I want to elect Democrat liberals and ruin my country.
I’m super serial. I’m paraphrasing a little, but THOSE are the only choices.
HA HA! What a bunch of bozos. If I don’t contribute, does that mean i can’t vote for McCain? ROFL!
