US Veteran Removes His Kosovo Medal
Republican Riot ^ | May 6, 2008 | Julia Gorin

Posted on 05/07/2008 10:22:37 AM PDT by Bokababe

Perhaps some insiders (or those unwillingly part) of the Clintonistas’ administration realized that what we (the USA) were doing was just not right - and so the award/medal could not be called/designated in more accurate terms as the “Re-establishment of the Islamic Caliphate” Medal… So better to have sent in the Girl Scouts - as things would have ended up basically the same as they have, except perhaps with less loss of innocent life. Anyway, it’s is also off of my uniform forever.

My only desire is that in some very small way it may help people to become aware - especially Serbians - that not all Americans are clueless - and that more can/must be done to alert the (civilized/free world) to this horrible situation…Also, I am very very displeased with what the Bush administration has done regarding the issue of Kosovo - as well as with Israel, etc. In fact this part (why the Bush admin is playing along with the islamists) I can not figure out.

President Bush seems to feel like he HAS to be diplomatic and refer to Islam as “the religion of peace” on just the outside chance that it will influence moderate Muslims not to fall for the rhetoric of the radical Islamists - and possibly not inflame the radicals more than they already are, if that’s possible. He seems to think that if he uses inflammatory rhetoric across the board about Islam, it might make matters worse.

However, among rank and file Muslims, his diplomacy looks like cowardice, which will only encourage further acts of terrorism.

Its not surprising that the Serb civilians in Croatia were willing to fight rather than end up under Croat rule. The last time that they were under Croat rule was during WWII and at that time the Croat Ustashe killed over 700,000 Serbs in death camps.

They are Communists, or would dearly like to be.

Wow, you really, really don't get it, do you?

And that Greek flag ? Is there a more anti-American, ugrateful people in Europe than the Greeks ?

The Christian-murdering Turks come to mind.

Completely ignoring the fact that the majority only occurred due to massive illegal immigration and a terror campaign designed to drive out the legal Serb, Roma, and Jew inhabitants.

Staying quiet on the Jews being forced out by your beloved Albanians, I see.

Going for the Dhimmitude badge as well, I must note.

“I do not lack knowledge of the Balkans or its history.”

Sure you do...

Skenderbeg was of serbian origin.

“Skenderbeg, the 15th century Serb Prince of Albania:
Genealogy compiled by his descendant
Loris Castriota-Scanderbegh
and 12 W. European genealogists

This genealogy shows that Skenderbeg was descended from Branilo Castriota, his great grandfather and a Serb nobleman who was duke of Janina and Kastoria in the late 14th century. He was assassinated by a Turkish sympathizer, his lands were taken by the Ottomans and his sons, Paul & John fled to Albania & organized an anti-Ottoman resistance which Skenderbeg continued. Skenderbeg’s brother was named Stanisa (a pagan Serb name). Stanisa’s son was named Branilo a pagan Serb name. Skenderbeg’s sisters Jela, Valica and Marica also have pagan Serb names. . “

http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Lobby/7681/perpjekja_2.html

“This is the most complete genealogy of the Kastriota’s that has ever been put together. According to this genealogy:

a) Skenderbeg is the great grandson of Branilo, the Serb duke of Kastoria.

b) Skenderbeg’s brother was named Stanisa, a contemporary Serbian name.

c) Stanisa’s son (Skenderbeg’s nephew) was also named Branilo.

d) Skenderbeg’s mother was Vojislava daughter of the Serb ruler of Polog

e) Skenderbeg’s sisters Valica and Jela mean ‘little wave’ and ‘dear’ in Serbian. Branilo and Stanisa are both Serbian names meaning ‘defender’ and ‘the one who stands,’ respectively. Note that neither Branilo, Stanisa, Valica nor Jela exist as Bulgarian names. “

Skenderbeg & the Kastrioti clan: Slavic noblemen

“ALBANIAN HISTORIANS: SKENDERBEG WAS A SLAVIC PRINCE:
QUOTE #4:

Not long ago, for example, I wrote of myths and mentioned Skenderbeg and the Battle of Kosovo. I told of how the Albanians have forgotten that Skenderbeg was a Slav. I was attacked by Ismail Kadare, incensed at how I could possibly say that Skenderbeg was a Slav and that the history and culture of Albanians is on the level of Serbs.

That’s the way it is with our culture, which is mythomaniac, national-communist, romantic, self-glorifying. You can’t say anything objective without people getting angry. The Albanians are a people who still dream. That is what they are like in their conversations, their literature...In light of Hoxha and ‘pyramid schemes, Albanians are a people who still dream. That’s just the way they are...

Fatos Lubonja
famous Albanian dissident”

You’ve just proved your ignorance on these matters, best that you quit now before being completely embarrassed.

"If the majority in that region (Kosovo) was Albanian for centuries"

No it wasn't.

The Albanians only came in after WW2. They were allowed in by Tito after Albania went Maoist. That was his mistake.

Impossible, considering that only 500,000 Serbs died from all fighting in WW2.

McCain is on the Albanian narco-dollars payroll.

Any other questions?

Postwar Yugoslavia estimated the number to be 700,000. However, the number I quoted appears to be on the higher end of the estimates - the Simon Wisenthal Center estimated 500,000 which is probably the number that I will use in the future to avoid controversy. Either way many Serbian civilians were killed in death camps by the Ustase during WWII and that is why Serb civilians were ready to fight, die and kill rather than end up under Croatian rule again. Here is the link to Wikipedia article which discusses the widely varying estimates of the number of dead which range from 30,000 (very low) to 1 million (very high). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usta%C5%A1e#World_War_II

Actually, from 1974 on to Milosevic’s rise to power, Kosovo province had a good amount of political autonomy. Why else was it called a “Autonomous Province”? And the provincial administration was, I believe, mostly Albanian.

Does the name “Action-Directe” mean anything to you? What about “French Red Brigades”?

Here's a hint, Simon Wiesenthal is full of crap with their numbers on this matter as well. The 700,000 number came from Communist sources who put the total number of dead in YU during the war at 1.7 million in order to get more reparations from Germany. This was admitted by Milovan Djilas, a Politburo member and one of the 4 most powerful men in YU at the time.

The numbers that you want to use are those found in two studies, one by the Serbian Bogoljub Kocovic and the other by the Croatian Vladimir Zerjavic. Their studies were scientific and independent of each other, yet they both came to almost identitical numbers.
