Remember when he said The lesson is they want the borders secured first. That was then. This is now.
Unless we enact comprehensive immigration reform I dont think you can take it piecemeal, he explained Monday, answering a question about providing visas for skilled workers.
In other words, he said, because as soon you and I start to talk about the highly skilled workers, our agricultural interest people are going to say, Look we need ag workers, too. And then somebodys going say, 'We need the DREAM Act,' and then somebodys going to say, 'Weve got to enforce our border.'
We get in this kind of a circular firing squad on immigration reform in the Congress of the United States," McCain said, "and the lesson I learned from it is weve got to have comprehensive immigration reform.
Thanks - I need someone to vote for, so I’m looking at all the third party choices.
And “kook” might just apply to the major party candidates anyway.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
No vote for MCCain here either!
Nor here.
But he’s also for the full retreat on the total WOT, just like Ron Paul and Bob Barr, and this is also the ongoing problem with both the Constitution Party and the Libertarian Party when it comes to all foreign issues: ISOLATIONISM ONLY FOR THE ENTIRE U.S.
(sigh)
We don’t need another liberal for president.
Now that didn’t take long, did it.
I’m all for comprehensive immigration reform, but I don’t want some damn amnesty. Secure the borders. Kick out the illegals as we find them. Levy massive fines on employers and individuals who knowingly hire illegals, maybe even consider incarceration. Then if we need more workers have them come in legally and check their background. It’s so simple and commonsense only a politician could muck it up.
Liberal Conservative Comprehensive AMNESTY Reform Secure Border Act.
I trust this doesn't come as a shock to anyone.
It’s amazing the republicans are surprised by the number of people leaving the party. We are watching our country be overrun by illegals and the republicans are helping it happen. They are creating a country they can’t survive in without the full support of conservatives. Eventually even that won’t be enough if they pass their illegal amnesty bill.
With a McCain win, we have one party rule. He’ll rule from the left and nobody will oppose him.
January 20th, 2009 comes... and a John McCain victory ends what so many have died to establish and defend.
But you're getting one whether you like it or not.
He lies about his undying support of illegal invaders and you can bet he's lying about supporting conservatives for SCOTUS judges.
Juan Snidely Mcloon can NOT be trusted to keep his word, not now, not ever.
Not just no, but HELL NO! McCain will never receive a vote of mine.
There is nothing Juan McCain can say or do to get my vote. I don’t even trust him on the WOT - he doesn’t seem to understand - or care - that our open borders are just as much a threat to our country’s security.
We’re screwed.
Does this qualify for a barf alert?
Don't hold your breath on this. A Clinton will say anything to get elected. Let's be honest with ourselves on this. We are screwed.
Screw you McCain.
