McCain Back Peddles On Border Enforcement?
Ace of Spades blog ^ | May 5th, 2008 | DrewM

Remember when he said “The lesson is they want the borders secured first.” That was then. This is now.

“Unless we enact comprehensive immigration reform I don’t think you can take it piecemeal,” he explained Monday, answering a question about providing visas for skilled workers.

“In other words,” he said, “because as soon you and I start to talk about the highly skilled workers, our agricultural interest people are going to say, ‘Look we need ag workers, too.’ And then somebody’s going say, 'We need the DREAM Act,' and then somebody’s going to say, 'We’ve got to enforce our border.'”

“We get in this kind of a circular firing squad on immigration reform in the Congress of the United States," McCain said, "and the lesson I learned from it is we’ve got to have comprehensive immigration reform.

Amnesty is coming.

Your voice, my voice and the Rule of Law mean absolutely nothing to anyone in Washington DC.

McCain (and most of congress) is totally owned by the Mexican government. Follow the money.

Wow. Must be rough being a Senator. All those lobbyists with the wage depressing demands talking to him, how can he resolve the conflict?

/sarcasm

He’s still discombobulated by those polls that show Hispanic citizens don’t want his “reform” either. Publicly spoke about it.

Hey, a lot of that money is from the good ol’ USA businesses.

Oh back to ‘comprehensive’ are we? Someone better kick McCain in the ass.
The guy is so dense when he reverses himself he gets up in the debate and starts mouthing off that amnesty isn’t amnesty.

He’s getting on my nerves, again.

This is one of a few reasons why I can’t vote for him.

Yup. America will be invaded and taken over without a shot being fired.

I will NOT vote for McCain. (Obviously I will not vote Democratic either.)

McCain is apparently proud of not “towing the party line” on many occasions. I’m just following his example.

I am very, very pessimistic about the future of this country.

McCain is a lying little weasel, and is out for no one but McCain. That’s the way he’s been since becoming a public figure and he won’t change.

I keep asking how this weasel stumbled into the nomination, but actually I think I know the main reason of several:

That’s right, navyguy!

That’s what we have. The only candidate with a chance at The White House who sounds remotely tough on the Border issue is Hillary, but her chances now are slim and none. She needed N.C. It’s the Obama vs McCain show, and both are unacceptable to anti-Invasion folks.

Whatta wonderful world!

cvq et al

The Rev. Chuck Baldwin, The CP’s nominee, is VERY tough on illegal aliens and should get every one of the anti-Invasion folks’ vote. He has no chance against McLame, but a 10% showing would be nice to see. In fact, he’s a true conservative, right on proactically every issue. He’s for kicking the U.N. out of the U.S., etc. And he’s not a “kook”.

Ban me if you want but upon being reminded of McCain’s treason on this issue all I can think of is: John McCain can just go f@ck himself

If fences don’t work why do they have one around the White House?

Your voice, my voice and the Rule of Law mean absolutely nothing to anyone in Washington DC.

Your children, my children, your grandchildren and my grandchildren will curse the names of George Bush, John MacCain and Teddy Kennedy. Historians will cite them as examples of leaders who stood idly by, allowing a great nation to fall into chaos and anarchy.
