Photo of Ayers Stepping on Flag

A 2001 photo of William Ayers, an associate of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, shows the former terrorist stepping on an American flag.

The photo was taken to promote Ayers’s book, “Fugitive Days” and published by Chicago Mag for their August 2001 issue.

As Obama has gained national prominence as a Democratic presidential contender media figures have questioned his relationship with Ayers. Ayers once hosted a fundraiser for Obama and the two have served together on the board of a philanthropic organization.

In a nationally televised debate Obama compared his friendship with Ayers to that of conservative Republican Sen. Tom Coburn and that the offensive activities Ayers participated in happened long ago.

ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos asked, “Can you explain that relationship for the voters, and explain to Democrats why it won't be a problem?”

Obama replied that Ayers “is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English in Chicago, who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis. And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn't make much sense, George. The fact is, is that I'm also friendly with Tom Coburn, one of the most conservative Republicans in the United States Senate, who during his campaign once said that it might be appropriate to apply the death penalty to those who carried out abortions.”

Why is he not in prison? For the same reason that Jane Fonda was never sentenced for the crime of treason.

Radical chic.

The ugly truth about the “war on terror” and the Left’s opposition to engaging in it is that they at their core ARE pro-terrorist and know people who HAVE blown things up and killed government figures.

Even John Kerry was a leader of an organization that plotted to assassinate members of Congress until the tide could be turned on Congressional support for the Vietnam War.

The whole lot of the them stink on ice and SHOULD be doing hard time digging graves. The bias of our media keeps all of these socialist skeletons in the closet.

George Orwell is spinning in his grave at how the Stalinist Socialists are still using their old tactics.

Part of what is accomplished by “operation chaos” is that it extends the length of the Democrat primary process. It matters not who is seated as the Democrat nominee. Both have the same Marxist policies. They also have the same type of terrorist connections in their background. But the longer the process goes on, the more of this information is brought to light. John McCain has already said that he will not bring such issues into the race.

That’s like ignoring Robert Byrd’s recruiting for the KKK and his continued use of the word nigger.

John McCain had better be ready for the backlash he is going to get on the run up through November. Questioning his age, health, and nationality should be the least of his concerns.

Hold that thought. This needs to be a protest poster for the general, if Obambi gets the nomination.
THE FACE OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY.

May I recommend it as a protest poster series ... pick all your favourite 'way out there looney leftists, and label them "The True Face of the Democrat Party".

Cindy Shaheed Sheehan comes to mind, and the Code Pink Creep ...

These chickens will come home to roost in the general election if/when McCain has the gonads to bring it forward. Hillary can’t because it would bring forward all of those BJ pardoned on his last days in office...

Five minutes alone with a field telephone and a bucket of water. That’s all I ask.

Any idea why he got back into limelight in Aug/Sept 2001? (talk about perfect timing). Was it just to promote his loathesome book?

Days of Rage
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Days of Rage riots in Chicago took place over a 4-day period beginning October 8, 1969, after members of the Weathermen, a militant offshoot of the Students for a Democratic Society, converged on the city to confront police in the streets in response to the trial of the group of anti-Vietnam War activists known as the “Chicago Eight”.

The riot began following a three-hour rally in the city's Lincoln Park, a meeting that had begun with the construction of a bonfire. During the course of the rally, at least a dozen park benches were destroyed to keep the flames alive, with Weathermen members closing by urging the 600 attendees to “tear down the Drake Hotel and get Hoffman,” a reference to trial judge Julius Hoffman.

Heading both north and south on Clark Street, the rampaging mob broke windows and damaged cars along the way. This continued for several days, causing a large amount of property damage. One person was killed and many demonstrators were arrested. Some of the Weathermen members became fugitives and went underground when they failed to appear for trial in connection with their arrests during the riots; some only resurfaced decades later.

McCain has already guaranteed that he will not really 'fight' on any issues like those.

He is going to run the most 'civil' campaign ever (while Obama continues to lie and distort McCain's comments and record--i.e. the 100 Year War lie comes to mind immediately).

McCain's 'gentleman' campaign strategy will win plaudits from the MSM,,,as President B. (whose middle name must NEVER even be spoken--according to McCain) Obama takes the oath of office next Jan.

P.S. Heck, McCain is afraid to even use his middle name!

I assume that somebody knows where this POS and his lovely bride live, correct?

I wonder how it would be if Freepers regularly walked the street in front of their home with signs telling people who they are, and what they did?

McCain is using the Nevil Chamberlin approach to fighting Democrats.

Why is this surprising???

Heck, it wasn't that long ago that he considered switching parties,,,

AND BECOMING ONE OF THEM!!
