The liberal media has done such a good job at portraying religion as hypocritical and as something to distrust that now that Marxist Reverend Wright came out, everyone is apalled.

If it weren’t for such anti-religious vitriol, this could have been given the benefit of the doubt by most people.

Purposing over a trillion in new spending, as Hillary is, is NOT "looking more Conservative then McCain". Hate McCain all you want but have the decency to be accurate and honest in your portrayals of him. This sort of hyperbolic nonsense about Hillary sound more like something her campaign stooges would be putting out then something any Conservative should be saying.

I assume the Jewish vote is moving in a similar way to the Catholic vote - conservative. There was a time when the Democratic party, had values that possibly meant something. True Catholics no longer have party loyalty.

However there are some of us who are Catholic in name only and tend to go the way the wind blows, which is usually left.

I did not get his name, but a Republican guest on FOX yesterday said that the Dims our now stuck with Obama and will insure that he becomes the nominee even though he will lose the election to McCain. The dims do not want a complete fracture of the party. They will retake the White House in 2012. The dims also plan on neutralizing McCain anyway considering that they will control the House and Senate.

Me either. That's nonsense. Barone is simply the BEST voter analyst out there, period. He knows the makeup of precincts and districts that are key in every state---why they vote, how they voted, and how they will vote. If he predicted the election tomorrow, I'd put money on a Barone prediction.

The only thing I've ever see him be "liberal" about is illegal immigration.

Barone a liberal? What are you smoking? I have heard Barone speak a number of times at CATO and have read a lot of what he has written. He is no liberal.

If I’m not mistaken, Barone was on C-Span a few years ago, when Bill Clinton was still president, and he was on with another reporter, I think the one who used to moderate a news discussion show following John McLaughlin.

Barone made some negative comment about Bill Clinton, and the other guy got all huffy, and said that Barone sounded like he was dumping on Bill Clinton. He sounded like Bill Clinton’s big brother defending his little brother. I’ve heard Barone on many shows, and he doesn’t come off as a conservative hater to me.
