Barone is a liberal who hates conservatives. He’s one of those white liberals who’s been “smitten” by the phony Obama.

Hillary is seen now as the Centrist candidate. She is looking more conservative than McCain, which isn’t hard to do.

It is interesting to see the supposed “moderate” pundits come out for Obama. What I’ve noticed is how few Jewish pundits have come out for Obama. I wonder why. And nobody’s talking about that. The truth is, Obama is NOT carrying the Jewish vote—Hillary is. Yet we hear so little about “the Jewish vote” as though it was a taboo subject. For another thread...

Purposing over a trillion in new spending, as Hillary is, is NOT "looking more Conservative then McCain". Hate McCain all you want but have the decency to be accurate and honest in your portrayals of him. This sort of hyperbolic nonsense about Hillary sound more like something her campaign stooges would be putting out then something any Conservative should be saying.

We’re not hearing anything about the Puerto Rican vote either. There are 63 delegates and a HUGE popular vote....and it leans heavily for Hillary.

I assume the Jewish vote is moving in a similar way to the Catholic vote - conservative. There was a time when the Democratic party, had values that possibly meant something. True Catholics no longer have party loyalty.

However there are some of us who are Catholic in name only and tend to go the way the wind blows, which is usually left.

Barone is a senior writer for U.S. News & World Report and a frequent contributor during Fox News Channel's election coverage. His political views are generally conservative, and Barone has said he is not a religious believer, although he is sympathetic to and respectful of socially conservative believers. From wiki.

I have never seen Barone as a liberal as you say. I do not know where you get your information.

Barone a liberal? What are you smoking? I have heard Barone speak a number of times at CATO and have read a lot of what he has written. He is no liberal.

If I’m not mistaken, Barone was on C-Span a few years ago, when Bill Clinton was still president, and he was on with another reporter, I think the one who used to moderate a news discussion show following John McLaughlin.

Barone made some negative comment about Bill Clinton, and the other guy got all huffy, and said that Barone sounded like he was dumping on Bill Clinton. He sounded like Bill Clinton’s big brother defending his little brother. I’ve heard Barone on many shows, and he doesn’t come off as a conservative hater to me.

RUSH:...You know who I'm hearing is at the top of the list for Obama's vice president? Bloomberg. I kid you not. I'm hearing it from a couple of sectors. Michael Bloomberg, Mr. anti-trans fat, the mayor of Nuevo Ork, liberal Democrat, calls himself a Republican to trade on Rudy's coattails to get elected up there, is also climbing on board the gas tax holiday and being very critical of it. He said this to reporters yesterday about waiving the gasoline sales tax, federal tax.

You're mistaken. Perhaps you are thinking of someone else.
