Smacking Down You Tube Terrorists Thread 2 - (Please help!)

I just want to say that you guys are awesome!  We had a GREAT month in April - and I'm here to give you the full results....

 

Our Smackdown Bomber flew from April 12 thru 30 -- that's a total of 18 days for those of you in Rio Linda.  (Thanks for the great Bomber pic, alfa6!)  The "Smackdowns" are removal of specific videos and the "Suspensions" are the removal of users -- a suspension can result in many, many terrorist videos being taken down as most users have more than one video posted.  So without further ado...

April 12 - 30, 2008 Results:

7 Suspensions

With those 7 suspensions, 179 videos were removed from YouTube:

If you're new at this, we'd love to have you working with us.  Here are the steps for flagging videos:

#1) If you don’t have a YouTube account, go sign up for one. You don’t have to use it for anything but this.

#2) Click one of the links below, let the video start and then click the pause button on the player so you don’t have to actually watch the propaganda.

#3) Below the video, click “Flag as inappropriate.”

#4) Choose “promotes hatred or violence”

#5) Where it says “please indicate the group attacked” choose National Origin.

#6) Where it says “provide additional information.....” type or copy/paste in the below statement.

Just a little Psychological warfare on my part.

Here is how it works, I am going to use this video to respond to every terrorist video we smack down. By now some of them have figured out how to deny written responses and even turned off the ratings meter but seem to have forgetten to turn off the video response.

I urge anyone that is involved in this video smack down to copy the video to their computer and host it under their youtube name as well so that if and when it suddenly disappears from my site as I expect it might at least we can continue to use it while I make another.

Don’t stop complaining about their videos or flagging them as well just consider this just one more tool you can use against them, the only way they can remove a video response is by deleting their video.

Freepmail me if you need detailed instructions on how to download these video to your computer.

I tried to download it, but my computer tried to save it as an HTML file. I’m not sure that would be the correct format.

It is an FTV file, and unlike in the past You tube has removed the download button but there are ways around that.

I use Firefox and an extension called Fast Video download which allows me to do so.

I don't know what IE7 or aol has that would allow direct video downloads from youtube, but there is also a program I use called Free Studio Manager that will download You tube video's as well.

I respectfully submit that lizardvalis has not surrendered because he still has pro-AQ videos on his channel. Just because they don't feature violence against Americans doesn't mean they're not pro-terrorist. This was a tactical retreat, and I say we pin his sorry little pig-loving butt down with some more ordanance!

I watch all of them, unless they’re long. It’s actually encouraging for the most part, because it’s amazing how many videos they post that are quite obviously failed attacks, but they expect the viewer to be impressed by a big boom. I even saw a couple where the video stopped before the IED explosion was even over. Yeaah, I’m sure the part you editied out was Stryker parts flying through the air, guys, we trust you!

I’m sure if anyone was filming my friend Daniel when he came under IED attack it’s posted on YouTube as a major victory and a sure kill. What actually happened is Daniel and his gnner both had their ears damaged but they were out of the Humvee with their rifles looking for the SOB in seconds, and both returned to duty in short order.

Yeah — you know, I think that’s funny too. And if you look at the comments on some of the videos, you’ll see that people who know what they’re talking about will point stuff out like that. Stuff like the fact that the parts of the supposedly downed aircraft are from some model that hasn’t been used in Iraq or stuff like that. Always makes me smile! :-)

We must be more creative. I suggest using windows movie maker to make a video using pictures set to music or use the title maker to make comments about the video in between those items you want to comment on. You can convert FTV files to MP3 files using This program Once that is done Window Movie Maker can cut up any video to suit your needs.

The hard part is trying it.

Yeah — it’s marked as spam by the YT users if you post it on their channel, but when you use it in the comment box of the flagging, the mods at YT still see it. BUT — your idea is very creative and I really like it! :-)

Well, Humblegunner, nice to see you're still trying to convince us all that you're Oscar Leroy's evil twin.

Let's review:

These videos are posted by people who want to do harm to Americans, America and her Constitution.

These videos are posted by people who (in case your tiny mind can't figure it out from the above statement) are at war with the United States.

These videos are posted by people who constantly kill women and children to advance their ideology of hate.

These videos are posted by people who wish to finish the job the Nazis started.

These videos are in violation of the terms of service on the private website they are hosted on, a website that depends on its users to police content.

But if we defend the nation, support the troops, oppose child killers who want to wipe out the Jews and do the job YouTube wants its users to do, we're Nazi oppressors.

Nice thinking there. It appears your moral compass is no longer pointing due north, but pointing somewhere in the area of Epsilon Eridani.

Erasing all the words of the enemy seems rather retarded from an intel standpoint.

If you had bothered to watch any of the videos featured, Spaceman Spiff, you would be able to tell that they were downloaded from terrorist websites (may pig feces be upon them) and therefore are still available to intel agencies. Then there's the fact that intel agencies have been infiltrating jihadist sites for years and probably aren't cursing StarCMC for getting in their way. Lastly, having viewed a number of these videos, I find the idea that any of them contain actionable intelligence to be about 10.5 light years off the mark...you know, about all the way out to Epsilon Eridani.

So, to sum up:

1. I'd love to see you cite some important intel data from any of the videos Star is calling for smackdown on.

2. I'd like you to tell me, 100% straight up, why a vile video like this is a protected expression of free speech.
