Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate from Illinois, sat for an interview Saturday in Indiana with Chris Wallace. The interview aired on “FOX News Sunday.” They touched on a wide range of topics including the marathon race to the Democratic nomination, Obama’s controversial former pastor, patriotism, and Obama’s positions on the Iraq war, taxes and education.

Yes it was interesting, my first thoughts were that Fox was sending a message to the Clintons (interview When Bill blew up), and Obama took advantage to send a message to ABC and the mainstream media.

Good Interview. Thanks for posting the transcript. I can’t imagine how Chris Wallace came across as Obambi-supporter as some people are saying.
I guess new standard barer of fairness are “Hannity and Colmes”. Make extreme uncivil disrespectful partsisan attacks in as vicious and insulting manners as possible. Then you did your job. I disagree with that.
Wallace touched on most all the subjects and was pretty argumentative about analyzing PA results. He didn’t want to sound like George Steptyhjuklous, like a Klinton partisan hack, trying to portray Obama as unpatriotic Muslim bigot. Whatever credibility Fox News has, would have been eradicated completely. Obama would have instantly become a MARTYR. All the KLINTON’S dirty tricks, that they have deployed, kitchen sink and race card, would end up being pinned on Fox and Conservatives.Obviously Chris Wallace is too intelligent to allowsomething like that to happen.
This was a Larry King interviw. He asked ok questions but no followup and let him spin to no end. I think wallace is a great interviewer when he wants to be. He must be struck like Crissy mathews about obama.

Most of all, they should get rid of the video game sound effects that accompany every video graphic that pops up on screen.

Maybe I’m getting old, but if I wasn’t so danged conservative, I’d be watching CNN. Their production is much easier to watch.
What did you want him to do? Be an asshole and be disrespectful like liberal journalists are to Bush? You want to give dems more ammunition against Fox? What part of FAIR AND BALANCED don’t you understand? He did a fine job.
