<< DO has been striving valiantly for a long time here on FR to get people to confront the facts, logic and dire reality of the situation in which the American people are trapped. Unfortunately it is now obvious that most people are either so caught up in the heat of their partisan enthusiasms, or so cowed and intimidated into a resigned acceptance of a fait accompli that they simply won’t listen. >>

That does appear to be the case. I, for one, appreciate DO’s persistence in spreading common sense.

I’ll admit that the Obama/Hillary pill is tough to swallow. I had to overcome my own natural gag reflex to come to a realization about this election.

DO is right on the money with this. McCain will engender NO OPPOSITION from “our side”, or the Donks.

Obama or Hillary will GUARANTEE OPPOSITION from the congress on down, and all across the country.

Being that McCain is nothing more than a liberal with an American flag on his lapel, under which scenario will America fare better?

I think the answer is clear, even though I say that with a great deal of trepidation.

Oops...I meant my post #64 here to go to you. I happened to be arguing with a Hillary supporter on an ABC blog about the primary set up. Of course he was complaining that Obama was preventing Florida and Michigan from “having their voices heard” and how some people like Republicans don’t care about disenfranchising voters.

I told him in the Northwest our voices almost never matter and as JFK once said “life isn’t fair”. LOL

But honestly, I don’t like the fact that I had no say in our candidate. It sucks.

Yeah, he hit Obama good. But SOMEBODY needs to hit McRino good and get him on the straight and narrow. I had convinced myself to hold my nose and vote for him, but he does something new to piss me off every day. If he doesn’t want my vote, I’ll gladly withhold it.

“fred sure turned out to be a dud!”

No, Fred was not a dud. He is everything he claimed to be, a consistent conservative.

Some freepers however, are really duds. They don’t care about conservative principles.

Fred didn’t want to endure the torture that it took to become President. It’s all BS. Asskissing and fundraising.

I was saying last June that Fred's run was a globalist fan-dance to divert the conservative vote.

"He can win," may well end up as our national epitaph.

You’re welcome, DO.

For the record, I emailed your post to my entire conservative list. Hopefully they’ll pass it around.

We’ve got to keep saying this, no matter the rebukes or disbelief we may encounter.

I couldn’t care less if “our team” takes the game. It’s America’s welfare that concerns me most. I’m not going to cast my vote for a man that I know will take this country even further left, when I also know that virtually no one will OPPOSE him along the way.

Maybe if we explained these dynamics along the lines of Sun Tzu’s “The Art Of War”, people would get it.

Thanks for posting this SE Mom, and thanks for the ping politicalmom.

I miss all the Fred supporters as well. Didn’t catch this in time to see it on TV but I do hope it will be available on video soon.

Well, what are we supposed to do? Let Obama win?

I hate the way this has worked out.

What are you complaining about?

I have yet to vote in my primary! I never have a say, except this year I will be voting Obama to attempt to offset the stupid Rushbots who want Hillary.

In all seriousness, I think Fred needs to get a full-time radio gig a la Hannity or Rush. Even if he had to go with satellite radio...I think he’d have a good audience.

It's too bad for Florida and Michigan voters but they have their party leaders to thank.

Heh. -Here in Florida, we - the republican House and Senate - decide when the primaries are held, and the democrat party leaders can go spit.

Sooo, old screaming Howard fell right into that ego trap that we knew - or hoped that we knew - he would.

He can't help being Howard Dean and that is his weakness.
Have some more rope Howie, lets see what you do with it...

What’s interesting is to see Hillary’s minions blame Obama for “not counting all the votes”. GAACK!

you are right. I find this all hilarious.

In fact, ever since we moved the primary date up and the DNC robbed the dem voters of any say, I have to smile every time I read about Hillary needing these voters...

Obama can write Florida right off his electoral column.

Windflier, I have a lot of respect for you, but I refuse to swallow that bitter pill. I’ll be damned if I’ll aid and abet any course of action which allows Obama or Hillary to ascend to the presidency...

and appoint three to four activist Supreme Court Justices, guaranteeing that Rove v Wade will not be overturned in my lifetime;

and pull our troops out of Iraq, betraying what our best and brightest fought and died for and delivering our Iraqi allies into the hands of the jihadists, like lambs to the slaughter;

and embark on a spending spree which will make Bush’s big-government “conservatism” look tame by comparison;

and allow the Bush tax cuts to expire, forcing me to help pay for even more programs of liberal social engineering, not to mention jacking up the eaxes on the people who sign my paychecks.

No, McPain’s no prize, but he’s not half as bad as Hillary or Obama. I guess people have forgotten how bad it was the last time there was such a liberal as those two in the White House.

And no, McCain’s not the same as the two Dems. He has a 65 rating from the ACU, with an 82 lifetime. Hillary and Obama are both in single digits, with identical ratings of 8 (9 lifetime).

Anyone else remember the misery of the Carter years, or is it just me?

Fred made so much sense and had such great ideas but the system is no longer set up to appreciate this.

exactly--sad isn't it

Well I’m madder than hell. I was DISENFRANCHISED by a bunch of NARCISSISTIC RINO A-HOLES in Iowa, South Carolina, and New Hampshire who think they deserve an early primary because the f-ing world revolves around them. By the time the MN caucii/ primaries (we have a hybrid system here) rolled around, everything was decided.

primaries should be a one day national election just like the main one --with the top two in a runoff a week later
