Thanks so much. The doctors were talking about 25 weeks of chemotherapy which couldn’t have been good for his quality of life. I just need to remind myself of the wonderful almost 4 years we had with him (he was about 8 when we “rescued” him.

I really didn’t want this about me...this is warm fuzzy Wednesday and Thursday and I think we need to “celebrate” all the warm fuzzy stuff. We’ll be okay here. Love you all.

Rusty is with me...he's in good hands. But I'll tell you one thing, he's a hand full...even for me. He loves you all. I told Rusty that I'm jealous of him, he got to live with the love of my life...Giz.

Oh dear dutchess.......... I am so SO very sorry about this important loss to your family.

I wish I had magic words(dust) to help. I am not a good person to offer condolences on pet loss as I am still struggling with my issues... but I do know how deep & real the pain is and the intellectualy thoughts make sense but do not help the void that is there.

You were a good mom & a loving friend to Rusty. God gave him to you to love & he to love you.. You were a wonderful steward to one of God’s special creatures.

I think Warm Fuzzy Wednesday is the exact right place for this to be placed. We celebrate life and love of our furry, feathered, scaled friends.. and it is only right to mourn them & to honor them when they leave this earth.

Wish I could give you a big hug now but I am sure Mr. dutchess is filling in on that.
