“Hillary Clinton BUSTED on tape being very bad!” At a small closed-door fundraiser after Super Tuesday, Sen. Hillary Clinton blamed what she called the “activist base” of the Democratic Party — and MoveOn.org in particular — for many of her electoral defeats, saying activists had “flooded” state caucuses and “intimidated” her supporters, according to an audio recording of the event. Don’t think she is going to lose PA. How much ahead was she in recent polls?

MICHAEL SMERCONISH: Mine's a two-parter. Part one: Tuesday in Pennsylvania, Barack Obama 51, Hillary Clinton 49%. Part two: Thursday, 4 PM Eastern: Hillary Clinton suspends her campaign. Perhaps Hillary has an unseen advantage among two voting demographics that B. Hussein Obama hasn't penetrated...

Obama won’t be the Dems’ 2008 candidate. He’s not even seriously running.
His job is merely to make Hillary look like a “centrist” while keeping the Dem primaries interesting to radicals.

It could all come down to a FOX Breaking news Bulletin 30 seconds after the polls close in PA that “Barack Obama has been declared the winner”. Imagine Hillary’s emotion that it should come down to this, after the years of humiliation with Bill to end this way. I hope there is a suicide watch.

I don't put much stock in what Smerconish says. His views are all over the map, and his thought process just doesn't seem coherent. Clinton has the backing of Gov. Rendell and Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia. Those two backers alone can make a big difference for her. I'm not seeing a lot of yard signs locally, but there are more for Obama than Clinton. Hard to get a reading from that, and I don't talk much to Democrats about their candidates. I tend to think that a lot of Pennsylvanians will ultimately go for the devil they know rather than one who just dissed rural Pennsylvanians so recently. While the state has a lot of Dems, it's not necessarily full of rabid leftists. Of the two, Hillary is the more conservative choice by virtue of being a known player. I'd put my money on her.
Bill Clinton was at our local high school tonight. Perhaps there will be some buzz tomorrow. Our 9th grader thought about going just for historical interest, but wasn't keen on waiting in line for 3 hours to see him.

I watched him this week filling in for Glenn Beck.
What was Beck thinking, naming this vapid numbnuts to fill his air time?

Wow, the Pope comes to America, Hillary tanks amongst delegate support/voters and Obama can't string two sentences together without insulting at least 60% of all Americans. Good week!

No surprise. Smerconish has been leaning Obama and trending left for over a year. Proof?
1. Has been beating the "0 will go after OBL in Pakistan and McCain won't" drum for months. This is naive and implausible. He just wants to join the "cool kids" at MSNBC.
2. Added a syncophantic younger male sidekick and female "giggler" who moonlights at QVC some time ago and became unlistenable as a result. Can you say Howard Stern wannabe?
3. Hypes ridiculous topics like a 2-person toilet and the benefits of the bidet. 3rd grade anyone?
Where does an educated conservative turn? Bill Bennett's show on AM 990. Thoughtful discussion and great guests, but you have to be able to stomach some "Happy Days" era bumper music.
Go Phillies!
