Did Rush and Hannity' egos take an historic victory away from us?

1) Did Rush give Hillary new life because he wanted to show that he still had influence, and will that fact allow the Dem's to avoid a crushing democratic defeat?
2) Did Hannity put the scoop and ratings ahead of the country's welfare by not holding the Rev. Wright stuff till the Dem race was settled?

"McCain, the GOP, Dem voters are in control of that."
Bingo! And your comment is really game/set/match to the whole silly line of "reasoning" (I use the term loosely) being presented by our newbie friend on this thread.

The author has a very bad case of hillaphobia ( the fear of all things hillary clinton). The fact that were the beast to get the nomination she would have to do so many things that would infuriate so many people, that McCain wins either way seems to have escaped his notice.
Hillary would be the most hated person ever put up by a major party and things would just get worse is she cheated barack mcgovern out of the nomination.

So, pray tell, how does questioning the sexuality of Secretary Rice, as you did openly on a previous thread, accomplish this?

Did I hit a nerve? You are now going to defend those communist loving Code Pinkers here on FR?The quality of you contribution on this thread is no better than what you would expect from Air America's Stephanie Miller.
To: prolifefirst
Your premise that Hannity “broke” the news about the Wright videos is false. You should atleast do your research before posting a vanity.
Welcome to FR, btw.

LOL! I can honestly say I for one have never listened to Air AmericaShould you be bragging about your lack of knowledge?
How can you be of maximum use in helping to save the culture if you don't take the time to know the other side?
To: Xenalyte
I didnt say you did. My post was directed at someone who claimed to know Rush and Hannity.I'm sorry for misunderstanding you.
To: Xenalyte
Bottom line, entertainers entertain, and they say what brings in the advertising dollars.1) Are you saying Rush and Hannity don't place a premium on truth, and that
2) they usually place their ratings above the welfare of the country?
To: prolifefirst
Your defense of Code Pink is very telling.
BTW, I NEVER listen to Air America.

"McCain, the GOP, Dem voters are in control of that."So you're agreeing with what the MSM media was saying two months ago, that Rush and Hannity don't have the ability to affect the election.
With their huge listenership and the close nature of many of our elections, I think they must have the ability to change outcomes on occasion.

The fact that were the beast to get the nomination she would have to do so many things that would infuriate so many people, that McCain wins either way seems to have escaped his notice.I think McCain beats Hillary handily, but I know that he crushes Obama and would then have wide coattails.
To: Xenalyte
Listening to someone does not equal knowing someone. A twenty year record of thoughts being expressed through words and deeds in the public domain pretty much establishes a pattern by which a determination can be made about a person.
It isn't necessary to have a personal relationship with Limbaugh and Hannity to know who they are, and where they stand on issues that are important to this country.
The questions posed in this thread questioned whether two men who have spent their careers espousing conservatism in an entertaining manner are more egotists than conservatives.
It is interesting that anyone claiming to be conservative would think it necessary to attack two of the most prominent proponents of conservatism in order to promote their own view on a given subject. That is a liberal tactic...question their motivation...question their veracity.
I'm fine with disagreeing with them and having different opinions. I've been there. But, I remember the liberal monopoly when we did not have those prominent conservative media voices. I appreciate the job they do, and I understand how important they, and others like them, are to conservatism, so I won't be party to doing anything to diminish their ability to continue that work.

The author has a very bad case of hillaphobia ( the fear of all things hillary clinton).Clinton Inc. has the experience not to pull a Rev. Wright and they know where all the government levers are.
They have a much greater chance of being elected and effecting their will.

Do we always have to be silent when we think people on our side act wrongly?
From what you've said, you think that Hannity shouldn't be bringing things up and he should have "hid them". NOW you're all for bringing up and pointing out wrongs on OUR side, but yet, you're against HIM pointing out wrongs on THEIR side?
Please enlighten me as to why you think this?
Should you be bragging about your lack of knowledge?
How you can equate me having a lack of knowledge for NOT listening to Air America is beyond me. First of all, I don't have the time to listen to every radio program every day. Secondly, I get my information in more ways than listening to television or radio alone. Thirdly, why are you defending "Air America" as having information in the FIRST place (they don't). Literally, the people they have on that network are a bunch of lying jerks who can not debate at all. They pass information that is proven wrong as fact, the base a good portion of most of their shows on hatred for Bush and upon Conspiracy theory. Neither of those things are helpful in "understanding" them, or their socialist-marxist views of the way the REST of us should behave.
So, I'm not "bragging about my lack of knowledge" at all. It would seem, however, that you somehow believe they are giving us all the ammunition we need, when in fact, Air America is nothing more than rabble rousing Commies who want to control you and me eventually. Sorry, I don't buy that listening to them is going to teach me more than I can teach myself about Socialists.
How can you be of maximum use in helping to save the culture if you don't take the time to know the other side?
The truth is, I DO know the other side, and I don't require admonition from a noob here on this site who doesn't know me from Adam. I'd suggest you try doing a search on my name once on Google before you THINK you know who I am. LOL. And yes, unlike you, I have no problem with using my REAL name instead of an alias. I'm pretty well known around the world - my picture is on the internet, and hell you can even get a Map right to my house if you like. But, please know (if you bother to do that search) that there are several folks with the same name as me - so, perhaps I'll leave it to you to figure out which one *I* am.
On the other hand, I don't think you would bother since you stepped into this and have drawn a lot of attention to yourself now.
So which organization DO you work for? You might as well come clean because your facade is crumbling quickly.

It's an obvious question that everybody would wonder about if she was on the ticket.
It is one of the things that makes we doubt that she is a cultural conservative.
If she is gay, the Dems would exploit it either explicitly or implicitly, by forcing us to refrain from discussing Hillary's sexuality.
To: prolifefirst
Clinton Inc. has the experience... no they don't. clinton inc had the media. now that same media is ready to bury them with their wild tales of sniper fire and other mishaps. still, there is a lot of time left on the clock. many fortunes can rise and fall before november.
To: prolifefirst
Lots of people, unfortunately, do not take the time to know the other side. It is the best approach though.
