Obama Campaign Plans to Hit At McCain's Age
US News ^ | April 11, 2008

As they map out a strategy against Republican presidential candidate John McCain, Barack Obama and his advisers plan to emphasize big themes and generational contrasts.

....

More broadly, Obama will be using the theme of "yesterday versus tomorrow," with McCain billed as the candidate of the past and Obama as the candidate of the future. This would also bring the age issue into the campaign. McCain would be the oldest person ever sworn in as president, at 72, and many Americans have expressed concern to pollsters that the Arizona senator is past his prime.

...antisemitism, antiwhite racism, and yes age discrimination. Change, “yes we can” says the Obama campaign...the elephant in the room that noone wants to talk about at CNN, NBC and CBS/

Wright, a former muslim, Obama raised in Indonesia, attended a muslim school, and Ferrakhan a known muslim;
interesting connections aren’t they.

I have heard mention of Obambi's most recent gaffe, but no details. What did he say about small-town Pennsylvania?

so that whenever he misspeaks the press can call it the blatherings of an old man

He is already providing them plenty of content. His misstatements regarding al-Qaeda, Sunni, Shi'ite, is one example. The video below is another:

McCain made 2 slip-ups in this single video. He stumbles on the word dispirited and then replaces it with spirited. Then, he stumbles by calling himself a conservative liberal Republican and replaces it with conservative Republican.

Then, McCain ended this short speech by vowing to continue to infringe on and quell First Amendment rights, when he says that 527's should be outlawed.

This is who the GOP is sending to challenge Obama or Clinton.

McCain a 'Proud Liberal'? (Video)

This is what I received in an email today.—It’s UNBELIEVABLE
Subject: Obama Explains National Anthem
Date: Sun, 6 Apr 2008 10:04:07 -0500

Obama Explains National Anthem Stance On Sat, 22 Mar 2008 18:48:04 -0400, :

Hot on the heels of his explanation for why he no longer wears a flag pin, presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama was forced to explain why he doesn’t follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

According to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171, During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart.

“As I’ve said about the flag pin, I don’t want to be perceived as taking sides,”

Obama said. “There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem it self conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song ‘I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.’ If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.”

“I don’t think my church is actually particularly controversial.” - Barack Obama.

You know no one has busted BO on the fact that he has tried to portray himself younger than what he is. He is a baby boomer just as I am, he’s 11 months younger than I am. Granted younger boomers but boomers just the same. He is not part of GenX that is 1965- as he tries to portary himself as.

They’d better not get McCain pissed off. If he so chooses he can utterly destroy Obama in any debate over the Wright connection. (If he so chooses)

Obama is great with a script. When he actually has to give coherent thoughts extemperaneously, he sounds like a 4 year old.

I don’t like either mclame nor hussein. mclame is a little less left then the fake messiah.

What I would like to see is an Ultimate Fighting match between the two.

I’d bet on mclame!

When I get on an airplane I’m always happy to see a pilot with gray hair rather than one who looks like he just graduated high school. I like that in a president too.

Not only is he a putz, but a half-witted, slimy, and bigoted putz.

Now Obama is insulting everybody old enough to remember when John F. Kennedy was shot.

Most of the Obama supporters were in diapers when Reagan was president, and Reagan was elected 22 after JFK was shot.

Obama can't remember being present during racist and blame America sermons (even though he tells about in his book) Hillary can't remember that she WAS NOT under sniper fire in Bosnia. In the unlikely event either of these two are elected, I hope someone reminds them that IRAN is the enemy not Israel.

He said about 98% of ‘there is no Alqaida in Iraq,’ said all but the final q in Iraq. About Penn small towns he said they mistrust newcomers and like guns, among other things. I think the bowling exhibition took a lot out of him and he is tired.

“If he so chooses he can utterly destroy Obama in any debate over the Wright connection.”

From what I have seen of McPain is that he will probably say that “Mr. Obama is eminently qualified to be the next POTUS but blah, blah, blah” Then he will turn around and apologize to Hussein.

I hope that he will be tougher when dealing with our adversaries.

McCain should select his (younger) VP choice sooner rather than later, to take the edge off the age issue.

That guy on Fox and Friends this morning was Bob Bennett.

Remember him from the Clinton/Paula Jones days?

He was 'Toon's attorney and was often at odds with his brother - Bill Bennett - over the case.

Reagan was vigorous. McCain comes across frail. Why shouldn’t Obama use the fact that he’s old? The presidency makes great physical demands on a person. Look how quickly they age in office.

Let's put it in terms Democrats can understand. Do we want the Godfather or do we want a street punk with a switchblade and a mean head fake to manage a worldwide enterprise that comes up against ruthless foreign bosses with decades of experience in getting exactly what they want no matter what it takes or who they have to kill?
