Jeez, are they in Ukraine? I can never keep up with those two! : )

I have a Ukrainian student in one of my classes; I’ll have to see how the Ukrainian press is treating the President’s visit.

Seems like our President is overseas a great deal these last months. I always worry, but I can see where he probably needs the emotional lift of visiting places he and his father and Reagan have had an historic effect.

We’ve come a long way these last seven years from his hopes of working closely with Putin to his visiting a country where Putin tried to poison and kill the leader of the democratic movement.

My son was watching the Washington Nationals vs. the Atlanta Braves game last night on TV, and he couldn’t stop raving about Pres. Bush’s performance, both in throwing the opening ball, and in his appearance for four innings in the press box.

One thing he kept repeating is how funny Pres. Bush is in his comments. He had the announcers in hysterics. He said that the Pres. was so laid back and his humor was very dry and off the cuff. AND INTELLIGENT.

No, darn it, he couldn’t remember a single funny comment. Someday, I hope someone writes a book about Dubya’s humor and lets us in on how he even gets big grins from foreign heads of state.

Oh, and he said that the announcers questioned our President about baseball’s big moments, and he got all the answers right.

Have to go to bet now, early appt.

Snugs, thanks for the beautiful pink toaster with Dubya and the Easter bunny.

President Bush and Laura will be remembered as a great people. Especially after one of the three get elected.
The Democrats have long arms and have influenced the public for eight year’s against this President and it is a shame that our citizens do not know the truth.
