Hillary Rodham Clintons cash-strapped presidential campaign has been putting off paying hundreds of bills for months freeing up cash for critical media buys, but also earning the campaign a reputation as something of a deadbeat in some small business circles.
A pair of Ohio companies owed more than $25,000 by Clinton for staging events for her campaign are warning others in the tight-knit event production community and anyone else who will listen to get their cash upfront when doing business with her. Her campaign, say representatives of the two companies, has stopped returning phone calls and e-mails seeking payment of outstanding invoices. One even got no response from a certified letter.
Their cautionary tales, combined with published reports about similar difficulties faced by a New Hampshire landlord, an Iowa office cleaner and a New York caterer highlight a less-obvious impact of Clintons inability to keep up with the staggering fundraising pace set ...
Its not just the size of Clintons debts thats noteworthy. Its also that her unpaid bills extend beyond the realm of high-priced consultants who typically let bills slide as part of the cost of doing business with powerful clientele whose success is linked to their own.
Some of Clintons biggest debts are to pollster and chief strategist Mark Penn, whos owed $2.5 million; direct mail company MSHC Partners, which is owed $807,000; phone-banking firm Spoken Hub, which is waiting for $771,000; and ad maker Mandy Grunwald, whos owed $467,000.
word is getting around that Clintons campaign does not promptly pay those who labor to make her events look good, said an employee of the event production company Forty Two of Youngstown, Ohio.
I feel insulted by the way that the campaign treated this company and treated us personally,

I should laugh because we know these people are famous for not paying their bills.
But instead I would suggest that everyone ever stiffed by these crooks file class action lawsuit to recover monies.
I would even see if I could find I Attorney General to file Rico charges against them as an ongoing criminal enterprise.
If I had to do business with this outfit I would demand payment upfront in full
If I was renting property to them it would payment upfront with security deposit of twice the value of said property.
“Vendors resent Clinton’s unpaid bills”
Hillary! is (at least thinks) she’s American Royalty.
And everyone knows it’s the little people that pay, not the royalty!
That is an excellent find.
Off with their heads!
Somebody - but not the Clintons - will wind up paying their bills for many, many years to come.
These vendors have learned a very valuable, although painful, lesson. When dealing with politicians ALWAYS demand payment up front. Just like a criminal law attorney always demands payment up front. And for essentially the same reason.
I get the feeling that reply would be along the lines of, “See how evil those greedy insurance companies are? We can’t afford this, so obviously the country needs a new solution, run by the government.” Or something like that.
Assuming they actually get called on it, that is.
"Foolish woman. You knew I was a snake when you brought me into your house."
That explanation won’t hold water, IMO. If health care is so important, then she would have made sure those bills got paid before the other “less important” ones. However, it appears there are dozens and dozens of unpaid vendors. So this demonstrates a pattern of stiffing people, period, regardless of what industry they work in.
If she can’t even manage her campaign, how can she manage our Economy??

Nothing new in this for Democrat politicians. Did John Glenn ever pay off the couple million in bills he had left over from his presidential run?
Is it really a good idea to be in debt to your

There must be many stupid people / businesses who work for the DUmmies on credit.
A financial Darwin Award ?
Note, the TWO OAK LEAF CLUSTERS.
Herself, the Thieving and Corrupt is certainly "above and beyond."
I’m continuously surprised at what holds water for these people, but I definitely agree with you. This is like Al Franken going two years without workers’ comp and then ignoring the warning letters when he got called on it. No concern for the little people.
THAT ONE caught my proverbial eye!
