Today John McCain campaign released a very powerful and emotional ad that portrays a man who made the ultimate sacrifice to serve this greatest nation in history of mankind. I do not know how anyone cannot consider that this great man will be great commander in Chief when they see the footage of him in captivity and being interrogated by his Vietnamese captures. This is the man that we need to continue and win this great war against the Islamic terrorist enemy.
(View the very powerful ad here) http://blogsforjohnmccain.com/new-john-mccain-ad-mccain-624787
When he was at the lowest point of his campaign last summer and everyone wrote him out, they asked him if his low poll numbers are due to his support of the war, McCain replied I would rather lose an election than lose the war. Now compare this great Patriot to socialists and defeatists like Obama or Hillary Clinton who fabricated one of the most outrageous lies claiming that she came under snipers fire in Bosnia.
God bless John McCain.
God bless America.
McCain For President.
New tag line inventory?
I’m not a Christian so I’d be greatly interested to know where in the bible it commands christians to pray for elected officials. Did they even have elected officials when the bible was written?
So you're the one.
LoL, you're post.
Could you please tell me the Book, chapter and line where I may find that?
Fine—put ‘er in...
You can start by googling the names of Col. Bud Day - the most decorated living veteran in the U.S. - who was a POW with McCain and vouches for him completely. He even has campaigned with him.
You can also add the name of Orson Swindle - who was a POW with McCain.
Sam Johnson, a member of Congress from Texas and a POW in Vietnam, has endorsed him. That’s just for starters.
Are you voting for John McCain?
A simple yes or no will suffice.
Elected church officials, sure. St. Stephen comes immediately to mind.
Elected government officials, I don't think so.
He made the “Ultimate Sacrifice”?
I didn’t realize he was dead. It explains a lot, though.
Politically, I’d describe myself as “pretty depressed.” There’s not a candidate remaining that is worthy of the office.
“I want him to pick Romney!”
Romney did long to serve in Vietnam, or not, he really is hard to pin down.
Desire to serve in Vietnam
“I was not planning on signing up for the military. It was not my desire to go off and serve in Vietnam...”
Boston Herald, 5/2/94
“I longed in many respects to actually be in Vietnam and be representing our country there and in some ways it was frustrating not to feel like I was there as part of the troops that were fighting in Vietnam.”
Boston Globe, 6/24/07
Thanks...
I’ve got your back too..
:)
Does the bible command you to pray for them specifically because they’re elected church officials?
I need to know too.
There is NO WHERE in the Bible where God commands us to pray for elected officials. That’s a bunch of hogwash.
Not elected officials - those in authority.
AdaGray, that is probably the most succinct post I've seen on these threads
This Country is faced with probably the most important elections of our lifetime and we are not only faced with this troubling decision, yet so many are forced to defend that decision....sad, sad , sad indeed.
