The blame game works both ways (Obama: I didn't inhale the 'Hate Whitey' sermons)

OK, so race is an issue in the current presidential campaign. It was, from the beginning, along with gender. When both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton proclaimed that neither should be considerations, I scoffed in a recent column. Continues...

Obama: I didn't inhale the 'Hate Whitey' sermons

By "JohnHuang2"

Monday, March 17, 2008

There isn't a smidgen of evidence that he had denounced the nut preacher's words before the firestorm broke out last week. And it is a fact that the pastor's unpastoral bent for spewing madrassa-like hateful inventive and his penchant for toxic racist rants from the pulpit were widely known. Yet, we're supposed to believe that he just heard about all of this last week, for the first time?????? He's not being honest with voters. He is a liar. In fact, he is the most deceitful, unprincipled, unethical and loathsomely arrogant con-man ever to run for president.

But enough about Hillary. As for Obama's little Jeremiah Wright problem, dust off Michelle Obama's '85 Princeton Thesis and lay it next to crazy uncle's typical sermon and you'll have an ideological match. Barack says he's been attending Wright's racist church for 20 years but never really had his ears cocked toward the pulpit, or that he attended Wright's sermons regularly except for the 'controversial' ones and only found out his preacher is a nutcase recently from news accounts. So, don't worry, he probably found out about Michelle's God Damn America thesis only from the newspapers.

Interestingly, the title of Obama's latest book, Audacity of Hope, was lifted from one of Wright's sermons that he barely listened to. During that 'sermon', Obama recounts in his first book, Dreams of My Father, the 'Reverend' Wright spoke of how "white folks' greed runs a world in need," and about "Sharpsville and Hiroshima, the callousness of policy makers in the White House and in the State House." Wright is so insane, he almost makes Howard Dean look normal.

"We bombed Hiroshima! We bombed Nagasaki! And we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye" as "we have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back into our own front yard!", screamed Wright right after 9/11, in another of his uplifting tirades, though this one's not cited in Obama's book since Obama had probably nodded off as the congregants brought the ceiling down with all the thunderous "AMEN!"s and "HALLELUJAH!"s.

Or, as LA Times Obamatron Rosa Brooks noted on MSNBC, Obama "was probably sitting in church and not listening . . . I have heard of people who go to church and don't listen." As Wright sang 'God Damn America!', Obama was not listening -- distracted with thoughts of how much he adores America! Lost in these thoughts, America-loving Obama didn't notice everything going on around him in church for 20 years.

In a total shock, all of the separatist church's literature is separatist and its mission statement says, "We are an African people, and remain true to our native land," but, don't worry, Obama never read or saw any of it, just like he never noticed the demented uncle who presided at his wedding and baptized his kids was the same chap going bananas at the pulpit on Sunday. For two decades, Wright kept tossing AMERICA SUCKS grenades right past distracted Obama.

But occasional listener Obama still insists his close association with 'Reverend' Wright wasn't close, offering the following clarification of an earlier clarification: "You know, I guess -- keep in mind that, just to provide more context . . . when I'm in church, he's talking about Jesus, God, faith" ("God damn America for treating its citizens as less than human!") and about "values, caring for the poor" ("We started the AIDS virus!") and about family ("America is the No. 1 killer in the world!") "those were the messages that I was hearing" ("White America got a wake-up call after 9/11! White America and the Western world came to realize people of color had not gone away!").

The ol' Rev. wasn't that close, was my mentor, didn't hear his sermons, sermons led me to Christ, sermons news to me, was sounding board, would quit the church if I heard those remarks, won't quit the church having heard those remarks, completely unacceptable remarks, remarks just strung together, had no formal role in campaign, had formal role but not anymore, biblical scholar, just a crazy uncle, never seemed angry to me, seemed angry and frustrated to me, seemed normal in person and would only go bananas at the pulpit . . .

Obama promised a campaign of 'change,' and it seems the more things change the more things stay the same. Obama's church lashed back over the weekend, hysterically accusing the media of pointing out Wright's insane remarks and calling it character assassination. Otis Moss, the current crazy uncle of Trinity United Church, screamed that "this week should be special for us because I guess we know a little something about crucifixion!" Yawn. Leave out that little something about Christ being innocent, which you'd have to in Moss's crucy fiction, and it's exactly the same deal.

And the excuses rumble on, with the Obamatrons demanding Geraldine Ferraro's head on a platter, then the subject switches to Wright, then it's oh, no biggie, slow down, just that crazy uncle, and besides, can't recall which sermons I attended anyway. You can pick your Ferraro, but can't pick your crazy uncle, so Wright's the Ferraro who won't get ditched beyond the lame-o, he's 'like an old uncle who says things I don't always agree with." Oh, and can't recall any 'hate whitey' sermons either. Same deal with Rezko -- couldn't recall the walk-through, couldn't recall his meeting former Saddam honcho Nadhmi Auchi, can't recall why Rezko kept doing favors, can't recall how many fundraisers, although, in a recent interview with a Chicago paper, Sen. Obamnesia admitted it was more like $250 grand that Rezko raised for him, a hundred grand more than had been reported, but lay it on the finance boys, not his fault.

Lifetime Achievement Award to Farrakhan? First I've heard of it! According to reports as of this writing, Obama's planning a big 'move-along, no-racist-raving-lunatic-pastor-to-see-here' speech for tomorrow to 'put it all in context,' hoping one speech will change the fact he was warming the pews of ol' uncle's racist church for 20 years and had no idea. Obama's running on 'my judgment is bigger than hers', so good luck with that.

Anyway, that's...
My Two Cents...

Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama had a chance to really make a difference.

Because of his unique status as a credible, black Presidential candidate--he could have 'taken the high road'--and demanded that black preachers quit spewing their venomuous, racist hate in churches (and stopping to poison the minds of the congregations, not to mention the youth in the church)--

but he chose the 'low road' instead. He chose the "I HAVE AN EXCUSE" cop-out response instead.

If you want to divide this country even further along racial lines,,,

Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama and his angry, bitter, anti-American wife...

ARE THE RIGHT COUPLE AT THE RIGHT TIME!!

"When these statements first came to my attention, it was at the beginning of my presidential campaign. I made it clear at the time that I strongly condemned his comments." - http://hotair.com/archives/2008/03/14/obama-issues-statement-repudiating-wright-may-appear-on-hannity-colmes/

I dont think there was ever a condemnation at the beginning of his campaign.

Liberals resent God...Except when God is damning America at large. Then they love Him. This so-call preacher has said amazing hings that show contempt for america from a decidedly LIBERAL world view.

Yet when Robertson saysGod will judge us for abortion and homosexuality...its wrong and must be seen as an enemy.

When Jerry Fallwell said things like Robertson he was met with protests (mostly hate filled gays) and said to be the enemy of America.

This is what is so dangerous about those who say they “smoked it but never inhaled” they want BOTH ways...they have NO integrity and they will do the same with power given to them by the people. Oh, Yeah, Mr. Obama, we are just going to fall in line and believe you that because you were not in church THAT day its all okay...We know...you have been there (Smoked it) but do not agree witht he word sof the man you call Uncle for over 15 years (Did not inhale).

You, sir, are a liar.

Thanks and have a great Easter. You know, Democrats have a REAL problem now. LOL. Obama has such a lead I don’t think Hillary can beat him legit. I have been saying she would kneecap him for months but I didn’t think it would be this bad. I really didn’t think she would use race to do it when there were other opportunities, but this has sure worked for her. The thing is, blacks won’t stay home out of discouragement, but rather rage. It is a very bad day for black folk.

Maybe it will be a wake-up call for some black folk, who have spent a lifetime dedicated to the democrat party.

(Obama: I didn’t inhale the ‘Hate Whitey’ sermons)

But his wife and children did, and I think he is lying on top of it. Why does he stand in front of a group of
American flags when he will not wear one in his lapel, and will not say the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

And to top it off...Obama didn't even need to smoke, since he was sitting in a room filled with smokers for 2 hours on most Sundays.

I'm concerned about Obama's hearing. So, here's a helpful hint.

Hey Obama, clean the crap out of your ears once in a while. And while you're at it, clean the crap out of your heart too. Ya moron.

"American flags when he will not wear one in his lapel, and will not say the pledge of allegiance to the flag."

Here is where Hillary's people missed an opportunity. She should casually say things like "I would have no hesitation to wear an American flag pin." Or, "Personally, I am proud to put my hand over my heart during the playing or singing of the National Anthem," or "I may not sing well, but I am proud to sing the National Anthem." And maybe something like, "I burst with pride for my country when I say the pledge of allegiance to the flag." But of course, she won't say these things because she it would not be believeable and it would anger her moonbat base. Especially the part about "Under God."

Obama did not inhale, but he still has a “Vast Wright Wing Conspiracy” problem.

Hillary hit it on the head, but was a little ahead of her time.

Taking the Lords name in vain by his church leader, Obama should never get a pass on this one.
