Students in university-run leadership positions are often required to participate in some type of diversity training because simply being a just and logical person is no longer enough to lead a group of people. Instead, one must be immersed in every type of culture, background, and lifestyle the Office of Diversity Programs and Services can comprehend. The Resident Advisor preparation I was given at George Mason University recently was no exception, and I have broken down GMU diversity indoctrination into five easy steps so that you, too, can become the sensitive person the Left wants you to be.
Step #1: Examine and come to terms with your own personal prejudices.
Feminist scholar Peggy McIntosh had no idea she was a bigot until she was forced to take an honest look at herself. In school, she received no training in seeing [herself] as an oppressor, as an unfairly advantaged person, or as a participant in a damaged culture. The diversity training team knows that you are probably guilty of similar charges, so before the training begins, you must first recognize yourself as the participant in a damaged culture that you truly are.

“Examine and come to terms with your own personal prejudices”
Here is a pre-judgment (aka prejudice):
1) Young blacks are far more likely to commit violent crimes than young whites. Crime statistics show this to be true to an overwhelming extent, year after year.
2) Therefore, I am more on guard around young blacks.
3) I have “come to terms” with protecting myself and family based on irrefutable statistical evidence.
Do I get an A for coming to terms with my “prejudice”?

I didn’t have much success at combating PC as a class officer in college and grad school... but I did kill the funding for a program like this. And guess what, when they had to pay for it out of their own pockets, the people who wanted to force us all to do it suddenly lost interest.
The left redefines being a sinner in a fallen world.

What’s the world coming to when socialists don’t want to pay for socialism...
However, the racist and anti-semitic rants of Obama’s preacher, the Rev. Wright are OK ...it’s only white people who are racist. I will spend the rest of my day lamenting that I am an unfairly advantaged person, and a participant in a damaged culture. NOT
That's the whole point of Socialism: The Socialists get what they want and somebody else gets the bill.
You know what?
I really don’t care “how difficult it is for other cultures to live in our society”. Assimilate.
Our culture is superior. Our culture is successful.
If you’re of a different culture, you obviously came here for a reason, probably because of the success you see, so JOIN UP.
Unsuccessful subcultures are where they are because they haven’t adopted OUR culture.
Man, would I fail “diversity 101” or what?
I refused to give them my pin# and I got trained in diversity.
That was an excellent article, and Ms. Cordova is to be commended. She is obviously tough as nails, as she is still in attendance at George Mason, and will most likely face the pleasures that accompany free speech that does not follow the left’s propaganda. I.e., in all available venues, they do their best to beat the daylights out of anyone who offers a criticism of the agenda. Stand strong Ms. Cordova - you and the half of this country that is capable of rational thought know that you are completely correct.
Come out mumbling “All Whites are racist”. “Institutional racism”. “Systemic racism”. “Unconscious racism”, and you will get an A.
A culture, by definition, cannot be damaged. It is what it is. If the authors of this tripe mean that the present predominant culture falls short of their ideal they should say so.
If this young lady survives the academic branch of the Comintern she will be lucky.
