I said that dirty word again, Israel. This was one of the many disparaging remarks Obamas pastor Jeremiah Wright made about Israel. According to Wright, Israel is occupying Arab land and has no right to its existence. He eliminates the legitimacy of the Jewish state of Israel in one speech; then he compounds the injury by usurping the Jewish historical ties to the land.
In Barack Obamas apologia for Reverend Wright on March 18, the senator recounted his first service at Trinity church.
People began to shout, to rise from their seats and clap and cry out, a forceful wind carrying the reverends voice up into the rafters
.And in that single note hope!...I imagined the stories of ordinary black people merging with the stories of David and Goliath, Moses and Pharaoh, the Christians in the lions den, Ezekiels field of dry bones. Those stories of survival, and freedom, and hope became our story, my story; the blood that had spilled was our blood, the tears our tears; until this black church, on this bright day, seemed once more a vessel carrying the story of a people into future generations and into a larger world...Our trials and triumphs became at once unique and universal, black and more than black; in chronicling our journey, the stories and songs gave us a means to reclaim memories that we didnt need to feel shame about
memories."

In fact, Brit Hume was onto a lying loop that Obama spoke in this speech.
He said previously that he was NOT aware of Wright’s remarks. In this speech he said he WAS aware of Wright’s remarks.
He said previously that he was NOT in the pews when Wright made these remarks. In this speech he said he WAS in a pew when Wright made these remarks.
A big “Kerry” Oh-oh..............flip-flop.
Wright’s as white as I am.
Wright looks pretty white himself. Must hate one half of himself?
I noticed Obama made reference to the “Christians in the lions’ den” in his speech.
Not to be picky, but I’m sure Daniel, the Old Testament Jew, would be interested to be called “Christian.”
Kinda funny that no one on his staff who proofed the speech had enough knowledge of the Bible to catch that.
Bet if he had misquoted the Koran, several of them would have been all over it. (JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING ... I think.)
I think many American Jews hate Israel as much as Muzzies do. Self hatred?
Has it ever occurred to you that Rev. Wright and “Calypso Louie” look even more white than Obama?
The orthodox Christian explanation of the relationship between Judaism and Christianity is that Christianity is the fulfillment of Judaism, because Jesus is the Messiah promised in the Hebrew Bible. Jews don’t accept that, but these traditional Christians believe that the Covenant of the Jews and their history as told in the Hebrew Bible is true. And that the Christian God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
A heterodox varition of that is supersessionism. Christian supersessionists believe that God’s Covenant with the Jews was replaced by the New Covenant and that God basically discarded the Jews. This is NOT the orthodox explanation, and it contradicts numerous passages in the Bible, including one in Paul’s epistles, that God’s Covenant with the Jews is forever.
This black power Christianity goes way beyond supersessionism. It’s as if the Jews never really existed. And, I would add, it’s as if white Christianity through 2000 years never existed. It’s Christianity for blacks and ONLY blacks, and everyone else is wiped off the slate of history as if they never existed. According to this black supremacists version of “Christianity,” God is not good unless he hates and destroys Jews and Whites. Perhaps there is room for white people to join this church if they repudiate their families and their people and become spiritually black.
In this regard, there is an obvious kinship with Islam, which doesn’t claim to fulfill Judaism and the Bible but to supersede them and revise them. There is no way to reconcilel the Muslim versions of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob with the Bible. For one thing, Ishmael takes Isaac’s place, and Bible history is completely re-written, as Abraham and Ishmael perform the sacrifice and find the Kabaa.
Well, in fact, we know that Rev. Wright based his church on the Black Muslim movement, only he called it Christian. In reality, however, it is NOT Christian. It not only loves abortion, and replaces love of others with hatred of others, but it rewrites the Bible in its own image, just as Mohammed did.
More accurately guilt, which is a cousin of self-hatred.
Sounds like these Black churches are similar to the Islamic Mosque in that they preach hatred and encourages racist bigotry. No wonder the famous race baiters of our times title themselves Reverend.
The most vehement anti-semites I’ve ever run into, web wise, are all leftists.
Now that is a 64 dollar question....The Jews historically have been more leftist than religious. I hope the tide is turning because rooting for your enemies is not that smart.
Only since about the 1920's.
The leftist Jews are assimilating, intermarrying, contracepting, aborting and gaying themselves into extinction.
The Orthodox Jews, who have an average of 8 kids per family, are rapidly increasing.
That is very good news. The orthodox still have their heads screwed on straight.
Unfortunately, that's the all too simple way that many black racists and other lefties look at the Israel-Pali conflict.
But anyone who observes with his eyes will note that there are a wide variety of skin tones among Israelis - ranging anywhere from very fair white to dark black. (The latter would be the case for Ethiopian Jews in Israel.) The same can be said to a lesser extent of Palis and other Arabs. So this is clearly not a clash of races, but a clash of cultures.
LOL
It's all that, and more. Black Liberation Theology is, at its core, a deeply communist ideology. Communist orthodoxy DEMANDS opposition to Israel, for a host of reasons.
Based on all the recordings I’ve heard, this guy was running a cult-like operation. He misquoted scripture, took passages out of context and uses Jesus as a political tool in order to further his own distorted view on reality. I pray for his repentance.
