Barack Obama is preparing to deliver a major address Tuesday on race, politics and unifying the country after being hounded by questions about his relationship to a pastor whose sermons have been laced with anti-American invective.
In a speech whose religious significance could compare to one given in December by former GOP presidential hopeful and Mormon Mitt Romney, Obama may be forced to explain the philosophy of the 8,000-strong Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, where the Democratic presidential candidate has been a congregant for 20 years.
In announcing the morning address, to be delivered in Philadelphia, Obama would not say specifically what he will discuss, but suggested he wants to cool down the atmosphere after incendiary remarks by his pastor, retired Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., blanketed the airwaves over the past week.

The congregation was whooping and agreeing with Wright's message of hate, anti-semetimm, anti-Americanism, racicist... Barack has shown he is a lightweight in politics. This speech is worse than I imagined!
Well all the people who took a 15 minute break to watch the speech are gone.

This shows the level of inner conflict of bi-racial kids. Torn between the hatred. He surely loves his mother and grandparents and hears this hatred form his pastor.
What can he really say or do besides plead that we all just get along???

It’s unfortunate that we even have a, “Black America.” Shoudn’t this be America! The racist portion of this country now resides in the black church.

I heard he contacted over 50 black pastors asking for their views over the weekend. Obama showing up late is not a good sign at all. He knows this speech is being covered all over the country, so this is his moment to get it right. Or........... the Clinton’s could be holding his head under the water in the back room.
