Thats the way Ashley Alexandra Kristen Dupré will be remembered. Not as a young woman with potential, as are all of our young women. No, shes now known as the $4,300-an-hour ho who brought down the Governor of New York.
Many in our entertainment intelligentsia consider prostitution a victimless crime, thus Ashley Alexandra Kristen Duprés activities are going to be her ticket to fame and fortune. Shes probably already received many offers from agents who know they can sell her name, face, voice and body. They know there will be interested parties waiting to exploit her newfound fame, or infamy depending how you look at it.
As usual with this generation, its all about her. On her MySpace page she wrote,
I am all about my music, and my music is all about me . It flows from what Ive been through, what Ive seen and how I feel. I live in New York and am on top of the world.
Well, if she could make it there, she can make it anywhere.
Ashley Alexandra Kristen Dupré alludes to a broken home and abuse. If true, that is tragic. However, there are many other people who have survived broken homes and not turned to breaking the law. Prostitution IS against the law.
Granted, unlike Eliot Spitzer who gleefully put people in jail as New Yorks attorney general and has no sympathy coming his way from the public, Ashley Alexandra Kristen Dupré may give community service a new name and will come out of this a rich woman. She may get a book deal, recording contract, or a modeling gig. She probably wont be earning $4,300-an-hour, but she will be able to work, for the most part, standing up.
Personally, Im hoping her name becomes a noun.

VERY GOOD!!!!
If Spitzer had done it in Nevada, the Dems would be alright with this.
Am I the only one squicked by how much she looks like Spitzers daughters in age, build, coloring etc...??
We all have a dark side. Most of us just control it or ignore it.
snicker...!
Her My Space says it all...
She posts a deep axiom..”What destroys you, makes you stronger”
what a vacuous Moron.
it’s “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”!!!
what destroys you.....DESTROYS YOU!!!!
She is the typical example of the Young today..
Spoiled and self absorbed.
She was homeless? yeah right from the day she left her home, to the next day when she started shacking up with a Musician.
She is “all about the music”...And selling her booty.
She needs Help, she is sick.
Anything he does, by way of atonement, in his mind, will be done publicly, so that he can show everyone just what a wonderful person he truly is. Then he'll try to milk that for another political run in the future. He's THAT self-absorbed. I noticed that in his first speech on Monday, he apologized to his family, never even mentioning his wife, who was standing right next to him. He ought to be on the ground kissing her feet for putting up with his arrogant a$$! I know I wouldn't do it, but maybe she just liked the lifestyle and the opportunities it afforded their daughters. It is those daughters for whom I feel the most sorrow. They have to endure the public humiliation of their mother by their father.
By the time the Rat and MSM spin machine gets done with this..it will be a trap set up with the aid of illegal wire taps..and police state currency laws..all done by the nasty moralistic GOP.
Then some Rhino will agree.
Exactly.
I think it's safe to say that Ashley (or whatever the hell her name is) is embracing her new found fame. High paid prostitutes are narcissistic so I'm sure she's going to milk her 15 minutes for everything she can: money, adoration from men, t.v. interviews, book deals, etc.
Like most sensational stories such as this, I'm already sick of it.
I guess her mom didn’t tell her there’d be days like this.

What's the ugliest part of your body?
What's the ugliest part of your body?
Some say your nose
Some say your toes
But I think it's your mind
I think it's YOUR MIND
Your mind is the ugliest part of your body . . .
Zappa, "We're Only It It For The Money"
Oh. You mean like "getting a Lewinsky"?
Was the author equally upset about Ms. Lewinsky's fame and fortune?
There are plenty of young women, even very pretty young women, who grew up straightened circumstances and/or abusive homes, and determined to leave at a young age. Most of them, fortunately, choose to remain basically honest and to work very hard in order to carve out a life for themselves. I've known a few, girls who left home and worked as nannies, and who managed to put themselves through college and, even graduate school, and made respectable lives. I've even know some girls who toyed with prostitution, but rapidly realized it was a dead end and fought their way out of it.
This girl didn't do that. She took the easy way out, an very understandable temptation, but a slap in the face of every poor girl who maintained her self-respect and didn't prostitute herself (or escaped prostitution). She was all into herself, and the good life the money was bringing her. Can she redeem herself? Maybe. As you say, one hopes so. But, she'll always be a whore. She has to live with that the rest of her life.
That was my thought.
I agree. I don't think Spitzer is a good man in any way. Profumo, on the other hand, actually cleaned public toilets in a charity ward for years. Literally. Eventually he was persuaded to use his contacts and engage in fund-raising for the poor, but he really felt he owed it to society to clean toilets for a while.
There's no way Spitzer will do that.
Sell your body when you have no brains.
I agree. I doubt he'll even be any more civil to the people who clean his toilets than he used to be, but we'll never know.
Eric Shawn did a segment on Fox this morning about this poor, poor struggling girl...I was screaming—hey, girlfriend, GET A JOB!
