HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Hillary Rodham Clinton said Tuesday she disagrees with Geraldine Ferraro, one of her fundraisers and the 1984 Democratic vice presidential candidate, for saying that Barack Obama "would not be in this position" if he were white instead of black.
In a brief interview with The Associated Press, Clinton said she regretted Ferraro's remarks. The Obama campaign has called on the New York senator to denounce the comments and remove Ferraro from her unpaid position with the campaign.
Last week, Ferraro told the Daily Breeze of Torrance, Calif.: "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."
She also faulted a "very sexist media" in the historic race between a man bidding to be the first black president and a former first lady seeking to become the first female president.

Geraldine is correct on this one.
Ferraro, also said the same thing about Jessie Jackson back in the 80’s, she has a pattern of racisim..
P-O-P-C-O-R-N
She is, but the Democrats have become so mired in political correctness, that for one of thier own to actually SAY IT is disturbing to them.
Of course, what she fails to also mention is that if Hillary had not been married to BJ, she would never have gotten a Senate position. And she is getting support from a certain contingent of women voters because she is a woman.
Hitlery wouldn’d be where “it” is if “it”
wasn’t the wife of B.J. Clinton.
Of course, Ferraro’s being a woman had nothing to do with her being selected as Walter Mondale’s running mate...
Obama campaign should ask for her to be stronger in her “REJECTION” of Ferraro.
Ferraro is partly right. But real the truth is, Barack Obama is in where he is primarily because an idiot Republican senatorial candidate named Jack Ryan tried to get his wife actress Jerri Ryan to do sex acts in public, and when this became public knowledge, it ended his candidacy, handing the Senate seat to Obama.
But for a dumb white guy, Obama would still be in the Illinois state senate.
I wonder what percentage of the black vote she and Mondale garnered. But then I guess it couldn’t have been much as they led the Dem’s to what had to be one of the most humiliating Presidential election losses in US history. I imagine one would be hard pressed to find someone that admitted to voting for her back then.
I remember when she debated George Bush in that election.
He wiped the floor with her.
. . .and did she warn Obama or 'what'; not to mess with this influential 'white woman'. . .in a manner of speaking. In this warning, Ms. Ferraro imagines, again, that her who 'Liberal credentials' absolve her from any offense. . .as if Liberalism and racism are mutually exclusive.
Over on KOS, the moonbats are calling her comments “Repeating KKK Propoganda”...
These people have heads so far up thier rectums they can’t see the forest due to the smell...
Talk about bad karma! (Somebody pass the Popcorn!)
Oh, you cannot... see that?
Well, look... again!
Hillary outraged by comments. Yea, right.
p.s. Gads, this lady is aging horribly right before our eyes.
