The poll is about halfway down the page, left-hand side and asks:
Should Governor Spitzer resign or apologize and move on.
Last time I checked, there was only a small majority on the side of resignation.

This poll must include votes from outside NY. Cuz in NY his numbers will be worse then this. I'm estimating 70-80% will want him gone.

Apologize and move on. Ho hum.
Eliot needed some semblance of affection after being overworked and under supported emotionally? (And he went nooken for nub in all the wong pwaces?)
And he will likely continue to be a playah in the worlds oldest extra curricular activity.
So thats good for the Pubbies in the next gubernatorial New York election.
Let the clown stick around.
Sex Workers of the World untie! You have nothing to lose but your shames!

He is most likely dealing with the FBI and will use his resignation and never holding public office again as a bargaining chip to keep him out of prison.
He used a phone to negotiate moving a prostitute across state lines, New York to Washington, and also moved money across state lines to pay for it. He broke federal law and that is serious.

Sex escapades didn’t hurt Clinton—why everybody still loves him, he’s our greatest President! Maybe Spitzer can make speeches and get rich like Bubba.

If this was a Republican, he would be hanging from the nearest tallest tree. BUT!!!, since it's a DemocRAT, he will be awarded and promoted higher into the liberal rat ranks.
Don't forget, what's good for the country is bad for the rat party and what's bad for the country is utterly fantastic for the rat party.

Hey, if he resigns is there enough time left for him to run for President? It could be a sequel to Bill 1.
