sweeeeeet.
FYI
At over about 15x you have to fight with wobble since the magnification actually works against you on smaller targets.
I want one for deer hunting.
Not to be nitpicky, but 1100 m would only be about .7 miles or so.
I sure would like to have one.
But the B.M.G. is a-ok too.
Can it only be used against the Taliban?
I wonder how it compares to the Barrett, and I wonder why they didn’t go to the .50 cal.
8.59mm? What is the cartridge based on. What is its capacity? What bullet weight?
Anyone know how this compares to the .50 Cal Barett and other rifles being used by American Forces?
Bah the Cheytac 408 Intervention still holds the world record: Three Shots,16-5/8 Inches: 2,321 Yards
I know what I want for Christmas.
Nice, but Carlos Hathcock did the same with a 50 cal. in Vietnam.
Mmmmm.... I think this baby would take care of the raccoon problem I have in my backyard. Fr@c%in’ little buggers are ripping the crud out of my new lawn.
One of my favorite scenes in Hathcock's book is where he is describing shooting at Viet Cong across a valley. He said it was always easy to pick out the leader because they were so obviously subservient and obedient to them. He then went on to say that they would scatter like mice when the leaders head exploded, followed several seconds later by the report, they were completely unable to tell where it came from.....
