Asthetics are very poor with the awful looking woodish stock and all the sharp corners. Did the designer only have a ruler?

I THINK this is a .338 Lapua Magnum.
Our Specops have been using this caliber for years.

These rounds usually do not leave holes in soft targets. They tend to shred them. Perfect for deer chili!

8.59mm? What is the cartridge based on. What is its capacity? What bullet weight? .338 Laupa. 250 grain FMJ-BT is the standard load for snipers. Not sure what you mean by capacity, but if it is magazine capacity then the answer is five.

The comments below the article confirm that the lyrics to the song “There's no England Now” are correct. They're a hoot, but they're too much proof that the craven and the cynical are now the typical man in the street.

He wasn’t lugging an M2 through the brush.
A 7.62mm bolt action was his tool.

‘cuz the .50BMG is really big and heavy, not something you want to drag around while crawling in the brush for hours/days at a time.

Lifhter, shorter range, much less penetration, but significantly more accurate within its operational distances.
The .50cal M82 Barrets were designed as an anti-material weapon, primarily.

Orrrr.
Capturing them in a live trap and capping them in the forehead with a .22 - and watch them twitch for a while.

8.59mm is a .338 caliber. Maybe the magnum or Lapua or any of a dozen casings.
