WASHINGTON - A law enforcement official says police are investigating letters sent to Capitol Hill offices showing pictures of a Times Square military recruiting station that was bombed.
According to the official, who was briefed on the investigation, the letters included words to the effect of, "We did it." The official did not know which offices received the letters.
The small bomb caused minor damage to the New York military recruiting station before dawn Thursday and police were searching for a hooded bicyclist seen on a surveillance video peddling away.
This is no different than an IED on a road in the streets of Baghdad. I knew these people were lefties.
hell they could ask the DC cops they just stood there and watched at the recruiting center was trashed.
You wonder about his selection. I suspect that it’s a clue to who he is. Probably sent other letters to these.
Good! Now I hope the MPDC will be paying a little bit closer attention to the security around the recruiting centers in the city, as well as other targets of the radicals.
You know what I find interesting, as in hmmmm, no posts by Wuke on Indymedia wecently.

HAHA!
OK, That’s it.
...The Associated Press obtained a copy of an e-mail from the office of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., to other lawmakers Thursday that reads:
“A few offices on the House side have received a letter today addressed to ‘Members of Congress’ with a picture of a man standing in front of the Times Square recruiting station that was bombed in New York today with the statement ‘We did it.’ He is standing in front of it with his arms spread out and he’s attached his political manifesto.”
The e-mail advised recipients to leave the letters alone and call police.
These Demoncrats are scum evil.
“But a lot people are willing to speculate and some go so far as to imply some Democratic legislators are complicit”
I can hear you....LOL. Look, I understand what you were saying and I do tend to fly off the handle at the dems. I just detest them with every fiber in my being.
I don’t like being at odds with my fellow freepers though, so forgive me if I insulted you in any way.

I agree with your theory.
SDS
Everyone you mentioned is treasonous in their words.
I want to know what they knew and when they knew it!!!
I only wish my voice could shriek like moonbat ‘rats when I say this.
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! LOL!
Yep.
Just so you know, “looner” and I’m on board. ;-)
That’s interesting, I would think they would be at least applauding it in a thread or two.
Well, ya' gotta admit, it's not much of a stretch for some of them. The 'Rat legislators, I mean.
Seriously, though, I do not think that is what Freepers are ranting about. It's the fact that some Congressional offices got their info packet, as early as yesterday, and did not see fit to call the cops until today. From the MSM reports, using confidential Hill staffers, the "manifesto" was railing against the war. Unclear exactly what it said. But the Congressional members should come out tomorrow and answer some questions about the content of the manifesto.
If it said, "We are gonna blow up the recruiting center in Times Square," or "We declare war on the recruiters," or anything similar, then they have some 'splaining to do as to why they didn't call the cops as soon as they read it.
Or maybe that's exactly what they did. But they need to answer those questions. Sooner rather than later.
Ask tgslTakoma. We are great friends but I'll beat her or anyone else over the head if they lose their minds. She beats me over the head quite a bit too.
I detest Democrats. Not excuse for making unsubstantiated statements about complicity.
I’m afraid this story is going to fizz out. I don’t trust the media to keep it going if it looks like it’s liberal fascists as the cause.
