You could be right, but the phrase 'Politics makes strange bedfellows' is more truth than poetry. One situation that comes to mind is the JFK/LBJ ticket. There was no love lost between those two, but for the sake of political expediency they formed an alliance. Lyndon did more than win JFK the 1960 election; He rammed Kennedy's legislation through Congress.
Obama doesn't even have close to that much pull.

dixiechick2000, me too I want the Democrats fighting as long as possible. I voted for Thompson then he pulled out after that, but if I had a chance to vote yesterday I would have voted for Hillary. I absolutely can’t stand her but I can’t stand Obama more and we already know McCain has it in the bag in our party.

What card ya got for Obama?
Wait, maybe better not do that here....

And why would you expect Hillary and her ‘Family’ do honor any commitments they make? Their track records doesn't support it.
Also, I strongly suspect Obama wants to stay as far away from these two as he can and certainly doesn’t want to put himself in the position of being reduced to nothing by them - Which is just what they would do with him as VP.

"Theyll just put Obama in the VP slot. Problem solved. Uh, except for the rest of us. I think talk radio was a big dum bass for pushing this stunt." Well, I definitely wouldn't want to be Rush Limbaugh right now. I don't know what he is going to tell his listeners if Hillary wins. However, I really don't think Hillary will solve anything by stealing the nomination and making Obama the VP. The best think the GOP could do would be sponsor free bus trips to Denver for all the LA, Chicago, Southern and other big city blacks. I don't think they will take it lightly, and in the end they will just stay home and not vote, same goes for Obama's young voters. No one will thank her for screwing him and then putting him on the ticket. I just dont' see it happening.

Rush knows what he is doing.
-Mccain wont have the guts to attack Obama because hes black= Obama wins
-Hillary is climbing a mathematical mount everest regardless. she already made a mistake offering the VP slot to the front runner today.
-And Hillary stays alive to attack Obama.

Obama still leads Hill by at least 87 delegates. And the gloves are coming off, and it'll be a slugfest for the next seven weeks, each now running for the same left and all wiggling their fingers warning about McCain. My only worry is that the open convention aspect pulls in a designated hitter for the Rats.

Gonna be riots in the streets by Obama folks if Clinton steals the election from the down-trodden.
