Translation: Make sure some Pinko doesn’t get hysterical and assault a Veteran or Patriot and show themselves for what they really are.

Actually, I think they'd allow the pinko's to assault anyone they want. They're just afraid that some might retaliate, which would leave messy, greasy, spots on the sidewalk. And that would not be environmentally friendly.

That’s what I’m thinking, too!

Berkeley PD gets paid well for just standing around and staying “neutral.” If some Pinko did go ballistic on a Patriot he/she would suffer immediate consequences... and there’d be no witnesses.

Master Bates included a form of ‘Police Stand Down’ in his assurances to Code Pink in his meeting with them on Jan 9.

That $20,000 is probably calculated by using overtime rates for the local PD, plus an additional charge for benefits, pension, etc.

Think about how much the city council could save by hiring the old guys who hand out carts at the closest Wal-Mart instead. And they could even bring their little vests with them, to clearly identify themselves.

I saw a you tube clip where a code pinko responded to the question are marine’s war criminals “yes”
asked do they intentionally kill women and children “yes”
was WWII an unjust war”yes and what the hell are we doing in Hawaii anyway”
the pinko asked “what is wrong with communism?”

Wonder how long it’ll take the city to go broke?

Not soon enough.

Gee, that’s a chunk of money for doing practically nothing.

Makes a person wonder how much the Chief of Police and all other ranking officers are paid.

Berkeley PD would have their hands full, if they actually *enforced* the laws. Berkeley Law Enforcement is an oxymoron.

The petition

We, the undersigned condemn the Berkeley City Council’s treasonous attack on US Marine Recruiters stationed in their city. We ask that Congress cut off funds from any and all municipal entity within the confines of the city of Berkeley, California, until such time as the city council withdraws it’s action.

The City Council has voted to tell the Marines their downtown recruiting station is not welcome and “if recruiters choose to stay, they do so as uninvited and unwelcome guests.”

The measure passed last week by a vote of 8-1.

The council also voted to explore enforcing a city anti-discrimination law, focusing on the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

In a separate item, the council voted, also 8-1, to give the Marxist protest group Code Pink a parking space in front of the recruiting office once a week for six months and a free sound permit for protesting once a week.
