Grim Anniversary: Waco Siege [28 February 1993]
Answers.com ^

"Waco Siege, a fifty-one-day siege by federal
agents of the Branch Davidian religious group's commune
headquarters outside Waco, Texas, in early 1993. The
siege, which began after a botched and bloody attempt on
28 February 1993 to arrest the group's leader, David
Koresh, on a weapons charge, ended in the deaths of four
federal agents and seventy-eight Branch Davidians. The
stalemate ended when U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno
ordered the use of force on April 19. Soon after federal
agents moved, fire engulfed the compound, killing
seventy-two, provoking controversy over the use of force
in dealing with dissident sects. Although some surviving
members of the sect were acquitted of manslaughter, they
received harsh sentences when convicted on lesser
charges. In August 1999, new documents surfaced
indicating that the FBI had fired three flammable tear
gas canisters during the raid on the compound. Following
a ten-month investigation, Senator John C. Danforth
released a report concluding that although federal
agents had mishandled evidence, they had neither started
the fire nor improperly employed force."

Unfortunately.

Maybe if we made legislating or acting beyond your mandate a capital crime...

Seems to me the Founders did that and it worked quite well against the Kings minions.

" I'm voting for Obama because his daughters do not like Britney and Paris" I'm voting for Obama because his wife Michelle now feels vindicated and now loves our country" I'm voting for Obama because he wants CHANGE, HOPE AND UNITY. These were law-abiding American citizens MURDERED BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT.

I wouldn't say that Koresh himself was law-abiding. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Koresh

You left out “I’m voting for Obama. I can’t wait to hear where he stands on the issues”. (Susan Sarandon)

I know but every administration does something stupid usually. I was just kidding about the tv show thing. And yes growing up does make you more mature about things.

No Lurker. I will not. If anyone knows how to open their big mouth it is you on many occasions. You have said some ridiculous things. Don’t threaten me either. It does not impress me.

This was premeditated murder, completely unjustified, by the federal government.

That is very scary then.

Did someone just not like these folks or what? Oh so the ex-wife is the cause of all this. Where is she now? I mean I would like to hear what she has to say for herself.

Boy, they sure are covering this on the news channels aren’t they?

NOT. Haven’t heard one word on TV.

Wonder why?

One of the posters said the ex-wife of David is the cause of all this. Why has she never been accountable for it especially if the women lied about the child abuse.

You have said some ridiculous things

Quote two.

Don’t threaten me either.

I didn't. I don't make threats.

You admitted that you had no clue what you were talking about, that you hadn't paid attention to what was being done at Waco, yet you felt free to offer an admittedly ignorant and uninformed opinion.

I quite succinctly told you to keep your cake hole shut when you haven't a clue what you're talking about. Apparently you aren't quite bright enough to take good advice.
