RUSH: "In Democrat Primary, Expect a GOP Turnout; Perhaps Fueled by Clinton Dislike, Many Republicans to Vote for Obama." I understand I've got a big challenge here to try to get Republicans to change their minds on this and vote for Hillary to keep her in the race.....
"According to polling, as well as anecdotal evidence, an unusually large number of Republicans and independents may cast their votes in the Democratic contest next week, a prospect that could tip the outcome of what polls show is now a tight race.
I know I'm fighting an uphill battle here, folks, on trying to convince you Republicans in Ohio and Texas to cross over, pimp yourselves for a day, vote for Hillary to keep this campaign going, this Uncivil War, Democrat Party. I know what's going to happen. Even if I convince you to do it -- remember what this is, this is about us winning. You have to understand, it's not about Hillary winning; it's about us winning. It's about our party winning. It's about those people losing. They've got some problems in the Democrat Party. It's not all sweetness and light over there, and we need them to continue warring with each other. We love these stories of black people claiming they've been threatened with violence or their lives because they're not supporting Obama. We want all this kind of stuff out there. We want the Clinton campaign to keep pumping out these pictures of Obama dressed up as Bin Laden. We want this kind of stuff. If Hillary loses this thing, all of that's going to come to a screeching halt. We want all the disruption in that party as possible. It's about us winning.
I know what's going to happen. Even if I persuade you to go in there, to pimp yourself for a day in Ohio and Texas next Tuesday, you're going to go in the ballot, you're going to go in the booth, and you're going to start punching the hole there for Hillary. It's sort of like Peter Sellers and Dr. Strangelove, he wanted to salute Hitler, you kept having to grab his arm to keep -- your arm is just going to be naturally tending to go away from Hillary, it's going to be a fight, because you just can't bring yourself. Never in your life would you ever have believed, A, that I would be recommending you do it, and B, that you would. I know it's going to be very difficult. I am stunned. This Clinton campaign is inept. Well, actually I'm not stunned. Actually I'm vindicated, because ever since the nineties, we've been hearing about how Hillary Clinton is the smartest woman in the world. She's inept! Everything that she has touched at the Clinton administration bombed; everything, in a policy sense or a strategic sense. This campaign of hers has been an absolute disaster. First, the attitudinal arrogance to think that it was a coronation and that she was inevitable, and then when it turned out not to be that, not knowing what to do, not having the right people in the right place.

She has got to be so mad, here the country ostensibly loved her husband, even though he never got more than 50% of the vote, apparently the country loved old Bill, and the Democrat Party is rejecting her out of hand. It's not just upsetting to Cokie Roberts and Dee Dee Myers. It's gotta be upsetting to Hillary that she is being rejected and that lug husband of hers was so loved and adored by the Democrat Party, and she isn't? You gotta understand these are not happy days. (interruption) I'm sure she does have a Rush Limbaugh doll in that room she's throwing darts at, a little voodoo room, but I'm telling you, I'm on her side here. We are trying to save this. Bill Clinton and I on the same side here in trying to continue to promote the chaos in the Democrat Party.
What are you basing that assertion on? The fact that his supporters show no enthusiasm? The fact that the press hates him? The fact that his base isn't in tact? The fact that the country is sick of him after 8 years of his spouse in the Whitehouse? The fact that he's a nasty old hag that looks worse every day? The fact that he can't captivate air-headed young voters with meaningless platitudes?
Have you seen how dangerous Obama will be for this country? I believe he is a closet muslim. I’m not even worried about the Clintons anymore. Obama scares the hell out of me.
Rush is wayyy wrong on this. We need to get rid of her while the getting is good. She’s a lot more equipped to win the general election by nefarious means and the longer it stays close between her and Obama, the bigger the danger of her beating him.
Keep her in it, so we can win it.
Don’t fall for jive; keep her alive.
Too bad you don't believe in antiChrist. Obama has far more similaritys of the antiChrist. Everyone is jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
Well all the good people here in FR can feel good about themselves when hes president. They helped put him there. Too bad the rest of us will have to live in the hell they are putting us in.
I was going to say that Obama does have many qualifications of the anti-christ. If he receives a head wound and is in a coma for three days...
Rush has been wayyy wrong on this since this election campaign began - his support of Rudy, his failure to endorse a conservative and now this.
I don't know what's happened to him. Was it the drugs?
Glad to hear it. I love Rush, but he's wrong on this one.
What did someone say - 'Take her out and remove all doubt'?
And he will. After he “recovers” all hell will break loose. Chaos like this world has never seen.
Someone did say that, but I say,
“Don’t shuck and jive; keep her alive.”
I’m calling the RAT race the gingham dog and calico cat and I want them to eat each other up. I’m hoping the sheeple will get so tired of their antics that McLame will look like a dove in comparison.
And I am not planning to vote for any of ‘em!
(At this point, I’m leaning to leaving the presidential slot blank on my ballot.)
Last week was still the time to vote for the Obamasama by crossing over (wow does that sound so dirty considering what this is about) to the Dem primaries.
This week it's time to vote for the Hildabeast to whip the Obamasama into line and let him know that he's got 5 more months of conflict ~
Republicans are always well-served by Democrats in crisis.
Usually those that don't want people to vote for Hilliary in the primaries are really trying to get Obama to win the general election next November.
ObaMessiah has quite a powerful pull.
Obamasama doesn't have a chance recovering the title.
6 of one, half dozen of the other. Add another six and we get 666 either way.
Thanks to Rush and Sean we now have McCain, Obama and Clinton to choose from.
God please help the Republic.
I don’t know about you but I am so tired of this election! I guess it will all come out in the wash like my dear MIL used to say. I think I am going to take a hiatus from politics for awhile. Go and spend a couple of weeks in the beautiful Smokey Mountains. Closest place to heaven on earth.
Well no wonder, the candidates started over a year ago!
How bizarre, for sure.
Kennedy jumped in the ring in January of the year he was elected with the clever use of voter fraud.
The main plus of having a long election season like this is all the extra revenues for the media.
No wonder they choose the President for us!
:>)
I whole heartedly agree with Rush.
For the 1st time in 44 years, I am going to vote for a Dhimi (Hitlery) here in Vermont.
The last time I voted D was the first time I voted and that was LBJ. Hey, I was young, naive and in the USAF and didn’t realize what a moroon he would turn out to be.
All anyone has to do is look at the visceral reaction here at FR when anyone mentions HRC.
Does anyone think that people who hate Her Highness is NOT going to vote R in November?
Less anyone forget, W did NOT win because of who he was. Most Conservatives knew by then what a RINO he was, but many of us were loath to see John “The Snake” sitting in the oval office.
I predict the same thing would happen if she were the D candidate.
Secondly, can anyone doubt how hard it will be to attack B. Hussein? McPain certainly won’t and anyone who does, will be called a racist, regardless how true the facts are.
Lastly, one which Rush omitted and I’m suggesting, is that if the Hildabeast get the nod, many blacks will so p*ssed that they will stay home.
Everyone is free to do what they want. Me, living in Vermont, my vote for any R in any election is like passing gas in a hurricane—no one will notice.
Therefore, as I have an opportunity to repay all the Dummies, Libs and “Moderates” for the mischief they played on us early on in the primaries and as Rush suggested, help foment hate and discontent for a while longer in the D party, it will be a pleasure to vote for her and I will smile going in and walking out of the polling booth. As far as in November, as my vote will mean absolutely nothing here, I won't feel guilty about not voting for McLame, which I don't think I could have done.
