"It's not a very long run. It'll be over by February 5." -- Hillary Clinton, 'This Week,' Dec. 30, 2007.
That was Hillary less than two months ago. Here she was on this morning's Today.
MEREDITH VIEIRA: So no matter what happens in Texas and Ohio, you will go on.
HILLARY CLINTON: Well Meredith, I don't make predictions. I never have, I never will. I just get up every day and, you know, do the best I can to let people know what I have done and what I am doing and what I will do.
If it's true, as Hillary Clinton claimed during last night's debate, that Barack Obama needs Xerox to copy other's rhetoric, maybe Clinton could use another piece of 20th-century technology: Memorex. Story Continues Below Ad ↓

“I get up every day and put one thunder thigh in at a time...”
Oh, but of course! Guess I was too fixated on Memorex to consider the alternatives ;-)
I heard an interesting comment on Bill Bennett’s program this morning. He was talking to one of his former undersecretary’s of education. They formed a committee (like they always do) to study education problems and Mrs. Clinton was appointed to it.
She did not show up for one single meeting, although she did sign the report. Thirty five years of accomplishments.
At times I don't care if Daniel Ortega is elected as long as I don't have to hear YOU KNOW injected into every presidential sentence.
It isn't the content of the response that is important; it is the seriousness of the question asked.
Well, relictele, you know, I hear from so many people about the need to eliminate you know from everyday speech. And, you know, when I’m president, one of my first priorities will be to . . .
As I did too with George W. Bush and al gore. Especially during one of the debates when al gore hopped off his stool and sauntered over to George Bush while Bush just gave him a look of disbelief. Gore made himself look like a total jackass and a total bufoon and tried to be like a bully. Every now and then like you I look at it again and smile. :) I look forward to hillereee clintin’s concession speech with great glee and joy knowing justice will have prevailed.
It’s OK...we don’t need to hear a lot from her. Just knowing she is losing and will lose is enough for me to be satisfied. This is my prayer that she loses because she will never be able to get into the race again. If McCain wins...the dems will be putting someone else up in four years and it won’t be the so called smartest woman in the world. Nope, she’l be relegated to the Senate for the rest of her life and will become insignificant like teddy. I know I shouldn’t gloat but...I love it. Can’t help it. They have done so much harm to our country and its people I cannot help but be gleeful and fall on my knees to give proper thanks for sparing our country from this awful woman and her even more awful husband.
LOL
Marylin Brando ?
I still wonder how she got the ‘smartest woman in the world’ label. Who gave her that erroneous label? Her utterances reveal a brain empty of imagination and dependent on scripted sound bites.
I think it was her “clintin machine” and then they repeated it over and over and over until people believed it.
I saw the interview as well but was left with a different impression. As you pointed out, Meredith did a couple of tough questions, she did her job. Hillary danced all around them until the segment ran out of time.
When the camera went to Meredith's face, her expression was priceless as if saying "I can't believe what you just said, you lying sack of sh*t" but instead, she transitioned to her co-hosts in Miami and this is where she slipped it in to Hillary. If you pay attention to her face and speech pattern as she says something to the effect 'and now to Miami Beach'. Her face had a frozen smile on it and she pronounced Beach very slowly to sound like Beeech.
I laughed out loud and applauded Meredith for very slyly calling Hillary a B*tch on national TV>
