CALLING ON ALL REPUBLICANS IN THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS

Last night Hillery said she was "ready to defeat the Republicans" I say we have a rare opportunity to take her on directly, and take her out.

The state of Texas has open voting. We should all tell/plead/beg our friends and family in Texas to "pimp" ourselves out for one day. Vote Obama and sweep that woman into the dust bin of history.

Here's our chance republicans - why do you hesitate?

Like it or not, Maverick is our horse. His nomination is sure. Lets use our vote wisely on March 4th and end this once and for all.

She wants to take on the Republicans huh? I say we should meet her on the battle field of Texas and give her exactly what she wants - a royal butt whipping. I just hope she dont cry again.

They will cheat to win the Presidential nomination. Or has anyone ever considered McCain bowing out if she gets the Democratic nod?

Get her out now and let them claim disenfranchisement against themselves rather than the Presidential election where you know they will like they did with Bush/Gore and Bush/Kerry. Show the world who the real arbiters of “disenfranchisement” are.

In case there is some question about that, consider this:

While McCain is far from my first choice, he appears to be the inevitable GOP nominee. As for the "lesser of two evils" I think there are substantial differences between McCain and the democrat nominee that would cause any true conservative to vote for McCain. Here are some examples of those differences:

Further, in the area of federal judges, we don't know for sure that McCain will give us Alito and Roberts, but we absolutely know for sure that hillary or Obama will give us more Bader Ginsburgs and Breyers.

If I do cross over for the primary, voting Hillary or Obama, I will not be able to change my party till next primary, I believe. And I will not be able to support my guy Pete Olson for US District 22.

That is absolutely correct. You miss out an any other important GOP contested races. Also, if there is a runoff for any GOP race down the ballot — anyone that votes in the democrat primary will be ineligible to vote in the runoff (you have to vote in the GOP primary AND have your voter registration card stamped that you voted GOP). Also, if you want to participate in the GOP caucuses and/or serve as a precinct rep or a delegate, you must vote in the GOP primary and have your voter registration card stamped that you voted GOP.

Furthermore, by voting for Fred Thompson on my ballot, I registered my protest vote to help send the message that conservatives in the party are not satisfied with the remaining choices. If Thompson is able to pull a few percentage points of the vote even after he dropped out, that will send a message.

If you are trying for an even delegate count, think again. Does anyone here doubt that the Florida and Michigan delegates will count? There is a real reason that Hillary kept her name on the ballot in Michigan and spent precious campaign money in Florida. And remember the New Jersey senate elections... Florida 2000...the democrats have no problem changing the rules.

If you think the democrat campaign will be conducted with the nicey-nicey attitude seen so far, think again. Does anyone here think she’s done reaching into her dirty bag of tricks?

And if you think McCain cannot beat Obama, think again. Obama is very beatable. He has zero experience. ZERO. He is NOT a good debater; he is useless without a teleprompter. He has been an avid antiwar candidate, and by November things will be dramatically better.

100% agree on all your points.

First, why put off until tomorrow which could be done today. If the Beast loses the primary it is damn near a stake through the heart of the clinton political machine. End it now and end it for good.

Second, liberals are hypocrites. They will say they will vote for the black candidate but will come up short. The older dem’s are elitist and Obama doesn’t make the cut.

Third, I too am tired of the “go back to DU” bull$hit because of differing opinions. If you don’t have constructive criticism or a rational rebuttal to an opinion then don’t post and pi$$ off.

Fourth, where as I agree if clinton gets elected it is possibly eight years of the both of them I honestly believe (and I am in no way promoting this) that her many enemies will come gunning for her.

Agreed. this is a really shortsighted strategy. The danger from radical Obama with his cult of personality is greater than from the plodding Clinton. Better to nominate Clinton, then defeat her in November. That way we take both of them out.

Nominate Obama and the odds are he'll win. If that happens, it won't be long before you'd be wishing we had a president Clinton again.
