I'd be happy to be wrong. For a variety of reasons, I'd prefer Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic presidential nominee. But it's not going to happen. She'll be clobbered in Wisconsin tomorrow. She might run ahead, even win, the popular vote in Texas, but the delegate count will be close, probably pro-Obama. The media talk, the popular mood, the times -- they all work for Obama.
Finally, there's been the Clinton campaign. Fighting, seriously, today about Obama's borrowing of rhetoric from a friend is a sign of desperation. Obama is derivative. So is everyone. And Bill Clinton -- who knew? -- has proved to be a negative.
The media megaphone can't be underestimated.
Some of it is crazy. Some of it unfair. So is life.
Obama will win the nomination. Polls today say he'll beat McCain everywhere -- in every key state and nationally. Those same polls said the same thing about Hillary Clinton's sure dominance a few months ago.
For the record.
Racist Blacks and potheads. At least that was the crowd at the Obama rally I attended in CT.
It seems like Bill comes out of the woodwork a couple of days before a primary or primaries and says something stupid. Hillary then loses. Could this be intentional??
Well said!
Not likely she can pull that off.
I think one of the Clinton campaign’s biggest mistakes is that they took the support of the news media for granted. This caused resentment among reporters who are mostly younger and susceptible to a figure like Obama.
Bill Clinton still seems baffled at the way the media has elevated Obama and highlighted the Clintons’ negatives.
Maybe she'll file for divorce in the next couple of days! I bet focus groups are being quizzed even as I type.
For the record, I KNEW!
I've wondered the same thing. Is he jealous?
I spoke the truth :)
She’ll physically snatch “it” from Hussein’s hand if she has to.
That fat lady ain’t gonna’ sing.
Hope! I forgot all about that. Looks like Obama has taken over Hope. Gee, is there a Change, Arkansas, too?
“IM even tempted to vote for him tomorrow...NOT! ;)”
Why don’t you Diana? I wish you would. Many of us in Texas will vote Obama. It’s for the purpose of knocking Hillary out. You don’t have to vote Obama in the general.
Is the Wisconsin primary an open one? Will you vote Obama to knock Hillary out?
The reality is that I will do everything that my determination and resources allow to end McCain's candidacy. I am a conservative first and a partisan last. I don't vote for liberals or dishonest, angry, old Republicans.
Oh well, if a Clinton supporter says so. (sarc)
Aw Geez! Now I have to go scour my eyes!
While I like hearing this let’s not get ahead of ourselves here as I understand that those “super” delegates hold the real power to decide the nomination.
Not all members of the SEIU will vote for Clinton or Obama.
There is at least one loyal Freeper who is member.
“A significant amount of his support traces to the fact he’s not Hillary.”
BINGO!!!
