If a supremely prominent Republican who was John McCain's chief surrogate had gotten into an angry confrontation at a campaign event, do you think the broadcast networks would have promptly let us know his interlocutor was African-American?
I do. But none of the broadcast network's morning news shows, at least during this morning's crucial first half-hour, disclosed the African-American identity of the man with whom Bill Clinton got into just such an argument yesterday in Ohio.
Not a word of any incident whatsoever at GMA or the Early Show, at least during the first half-hour. Today did mention that Clinton "showed his temper . . . after an Obama supporter tried to disrupt his speech in Canton," but nothing about the man's identity.

“Abortion is THE issue”—absolutely. Bottom line is the value of life, and don’t forget God’s view of shedding innocent blood—He didn’t forgive Israel for sacrificing their babies to a false God and He is not going to forgive any other nation that legalizes the practice. Hence—enter the tribulation.
He was an African-American lunatic. In a more civilized era, Clinton would have punched him in the nose and we would have applauded him for it.
Old man Clinton, should learn to relax, what with his triple heart by-passes...
This country sacrifices its babies to the false god of self indulgence and hedonism.
My point is the double standard. Would you agree that if McCain’s main surrogate had done the same thing the nets would have been all over the man’s African-American identity?
I think there are two driving issues in liberalism: One is abortion, the other homosexuality. They are both tied to the real issue "Who gets to declare what is good and what is evil".
Liberals definitely believe in moral relativism, it is their highest value, hence their undying support for diversity and tolerance. Those taking the narrow road are detested by them.
I’m in Glens Falls/Lake George.
The real underlying value is indiscrimateNESS.

Thanks for the info. When I read the story, I assumed it had been a white Obama supporter. It never occurred to me the guy could have been black.
Excellent report.
Slick knows that it isn't just Hillary the Democrat base is denouncing, it is denouncing him as well!!
The bully just can't stand that and he is constantly berating those who are just too ignorant to comprehend and understand Hillary's message.
Me too: I had heard about the incident last night, but was shocked this morning to see the fellow was black.
Thanks, Lancey. As someone wrote somewhere else, if this had been a Republican confronting an African-American the networks would be playing it on a continuous loop!
Those are different incidences— but the same outta control Bubba.
This makes me wonder if Clinton has decided to employ the old “Sister Souljah” strategy in order to paint Obama as “the candidate of blacks” thereby pointing whites to Hillary. Quite a gambit.
The point is, Clinton may WANT the nets to play this up but since the MSM wants Obama, they aren’t playing along.
If the American media was unbiased, we would not be a divided nation.
When I glanced at the headline I thought this was a story about Bill Walton and the New Jersey Nets. lol!
Well, of course. I don't want him getting ill, just leaving the national stage in disgrace. Aside from that, if Hillary tearing up for others "picking on her" can help her win primaries,, can you imagine votes for her if Bill passed on?
Oh, WELL done! I read about this guy, but it was not reported that it was a black man Impeached Bubba went after!!! Well done!
