Romney has withdrawn and asked his delegates to support McCain.
It is a valid point buy their fruits you will know them.
Which I believe goes to the core of what they belive.
How many times in the book of John was Jesus called “the only begotten Son”?
“Yeah Mitt. Now you can dispense with the talk about change, and not being tied to those in the beltway.
You are a stinking liberal.”
You are making so many people’s point and you’re too ignorant to get it.
You - an ordained minister. As a Christian, you embarrass me!
I know veeps generally do not turn elections, but can Romney help McCain win Michigan? I just do not know how much pull Romney has in that state.
sounds like Romney made a deal with McCain to get the V.P.
Heard this on Rush. I haven’t read the entire thread yet and the answer to my question may be within. Have Thompson and Paul given McCain their delegates too?
LOL.
Read Post 309 - and this coming from a licensed and ordained pastor.
Yup.
This is the best thing to happen, for many different reasons.
Romney is most definitely a class act.
Bravo to you for your post.
Not a chance. McCain will pick a VP that will help him win a state. The democrats have Mass all wrapped up so no need for Romney. He'll need help in Fla which is why Crist will be the man.
What is baffling to me is given his record, I don’t understand how any Mormons would vote for him.
What are you talking about? LOL
You’re the one posting that Romney is using a Reagan strategy, not me. This endless equating of Romney to Reagan has no basis in fact. And it IS an insult to the Reagan legacy. Btw, Nancy Reagan was a Republican for years and helped to get her “Ronnie” to join the GOP. But Mrs. Reagan was never a conservative at any time.
Mitt’s hypocritical statements that he’s not like the people in DC, only to support McCain is a perfect example of someone saying what he needs to say, just to get elected.
It didn’t work, so now his true colors come out.
Tell me, exactly what did I say that is embarrassing to you?
Where did I speak falsely?
So, what say you, fliparoos?
What is baffling to me is given his record, I dont understand how any Mormons would vote for him.
Simple - identity politics.
Same reason so many Southern Baptists vote for Huckabee.
Good point.
:) I’m just a little bitter when it comes to religion, which is my own failing and not anyone elses.
But I do think we should all be free to practice our religions. I’m not comfortable calling anyone’s religion “wrong” since I’ve yet to die and face God. One’s faith, regardless of what “brand” requires one to believe extraordinary things are true. To ridicule a religion for having certain “extraordinary” beliefs seems cruel and silly, for all religions have things that those who are outsiders find difficult to swallow, while believers believe wholeheartedly and without abandon those extraordinary events/things/etc. occurred/existed.
I only supported Mitt after Fred dropped out but I feel now as I did before: Mitt Romney is a smart, honorable man who wants America to thrive and does not put himself before her.
Calling someone a “stinking liberal” is not Christian. You can spin it any way you want, but it is not Christian.
You’re all missing the point, Huck played spoiler to Mitt’s campaign, he’s just returning the favor ;)
