Wouldn’t have to be a running mate though. A good Chief of Staff might shore him up.

Matt Blunt looks 16. They'd turn him into the next Dan Quayle.

Condi would be a bad choice, because she favors abortion rights.

Jindal has not even been Governor for a month! Not until tomorrow, will it have been a month. He is not going to be chosen as McCain’s VP.

She’s very pro-gun, though. Anyway, McCain himself is pro-life.

Pat Sajak? The Wheel of Fortune host? I know he's conservative, but...

If we're going to do that, we may as well nominate Shannen Doherty. She's conservative too.

I’m glad to know she’s pro-gun. However, I think McCain’s VP will be next in line for President, and I don’t want her for Pres.

There are better ideas. Many have been listed here.

Its going to be Charlie Crist because McCain needs Florida more than he needs conservatives.

Unfortunately, McCain will need the support of either the anti-black or anti-women voters to win. Most of those will be cross overs from the Dem party or "independents."

It disgusts me that their vote would be needed, but that looks to be the only way that a weak McCain will get a victory.

That’s what the democrats in Missouri thought too. It is a fatal error in judgment. Blunt knows his business and is strictly Conservative.

I might even consider voting for McLame if Blunt was the VP choice.

My view is that part of the final GOP Presidential ticket should ALWAYS include someone from California in order to force the Democrats to spend both more money and more time in California than what is expected of them. California has the most electoral votes of all fifty states. This is why I have some names of people from California on my list, and Pat Sajak as V.P. would truly succeed in getting more attention from the general public towards the GOP Presidential ticket than just about anybody else on my list, IMHO. In ‘96, I wanted Bob Dole to pick either Sonny Bono or Pat Sajak to be his V.P. in order to help “boost” that GOP Presidential ticket, especially among women voters, while also putting California into political play. I also include people not from California for a variety of reasons, and I know that the GOP doesn’t often pay that much attention to California with that state usually being a strong state for the Democrats. Certain people as V.P. can truly succeed in “boosting” any Presidential ticket, IMHO.
