Anyway, prayers up for my mom, to pass quickly and painlessly; for my Dad, who han't had a visible negative emotion he would admit to in the 46 years I have known him and whom I am worried about, and for me, as I seem to have this empty file on my internal hard drive where my grief should be and I seem to be feeling nothing in particular about this, which bothers me more than what I ought to be feeling about this. (My family might well have been Vulcans, and I had to develop most emotional programming well into adulthood. I thought I was doing a pretty good job until this came along.)

Certainly prayers for your Mom and Dad both...
I had hospice for my dear husband last year, and they were wonderful. I know you feel numb right now, but I think that’s just because of the shock. After that wears off, and sadly it will, I encourage you to just spend as much time with your mom and dad as you can. Especially with your father, if he has a hard time showing feelings, he could be just destroyed and have no way to show it. Your presence will sure be a comfort, and may allow him to share his grief with yours.
And it isn’t just men...I had a hard time expressing my feelings until the funeral...I was too busy taking care of Rob in his final illness. Even with hospice, there was a lot to do...

Prayers for all of you. The hospice in our area is wonderful, and I hope yours is also.
You’ve been in the process of losing your mom for quite a while now, it seems. Now you’re in the process of losing the shell that used to contain your mom...painful, yes, but not quite as painful as losing the person inside.

No one can tell you how to feel during this time - it’s a mistake to think something is missing. Enjoy and treasure your time that is left with your mom.
One thing I wish I had of my dad after he was gone, was his voice on something. If you can record a conversation - or any memories that she may have, that may be what you need later to “feel”.
Prayers for an easy transition -
