The media loves campaign metaphors. Yesterday, some MSM wag delighted in pointing out that Mike Huckabee's campaign van had twice run out of gas. Today, it was Hillary Clinton's turn. In the wake of her devastating defeats in the Potomac primaries, Good Morning America rolled an extended clip of her struggling up an airplane stairway.
Speaking with Diane Sawyer, George Stephanopoulos had just finished opining that if in Texas Obama cuts into Hillary's coalition of women and Hispanics the way he did last night, he will be the nominee.

Does sad little clip help or hurt Hillary? Ping to Today show list.
As badly has I despise Hillary, I hate more what the media is doing to us as Americans. It seems like we’ve gotten to the point via media coverage where the media is choosing the president. That’s sad people. There is no choice this election year.
Remember McGovern’s tagline was “Right from the Start” for voting against the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.
link to video, please.
If you believe there is “no choice” this election year then you need to get your head together. McCain is by far a better choice than either Hillary or Obama. If conservatives don’t get their ‘heads together’, quit whinning about how things turned out, and get to work, then we will have a real socialist for president.
With our new NewsBusters system there’s no simple way to link. Please click on NewsBusters link above which will take you to page containing video.
LOL. She does now!
McCain is not to be trusted either. He’s stabbed republicans in the back for years and I cannot see how anyone can support him.
I’ll be watching over the next few days for video of Obama bounding up stairs here and there.
Maybe Hillary has a knee problem.
Hey, if Doc Scarpetta speaks about Hillary’s medical condition, who am I to disagree? ;-)
Of course, the good doc is an expert on people in terminal situations.
Maybe it’s that extra 50 lbs she carries around in that pantsuit.

She probably gave Bill a swift kick in the ass the other night and hurt her ankle.
Well if my reaction is any indication, it will help her. It almost made me feel sorry for her but I thought back to her ungraciousness last night in not congratulating Obama for his victories and immediately came to my senses. Others may feel she's fought a tough campaign and shouldn't lose to this upstart.
Over at NewsBusters, a reader mentioned that according to Fox News the stairway was ice-covered. Fox mentioned that but ABC did not — so who’s fair to Dems now?
