It’s difficult to guess which coreless candidate on the left will win, not that it matters too much.
Obviously if the CCF loses there will be hell to pay.
I still recall all those “poorly done polls” in new Hampshire and other strange occurrences on the left.
If anyone can pull of an election whether they really won it or not the CCF can get the job done.

I cant help but think that the fix is in with the Huckster and McCain,even so its only a matter of time before two things happen;
1. The huckster loses and McCain wins
2. McCain throws huck under the bus.

Hmmmm, I’going to have to try that tomorrow. We’re having company. I’m doing bbq chicken breasts, Roomey loves breasts, and I need to another batch of potato salad for tomorrow. I’m also doing a broccoli/cauliflower salad plus a chocloate cake w/whipped/brandy frosting.

I’m a bit of a flaming tasting freak, I love jalapenos, off the vine. It has such a wonderful flavor, but most people cannot get past they hotness. Cold milk will always kill the burning in these peppers, but my system seems to enjoy the pepper. I do have a bit of a problem with habenjeros, I’ve had a habenjeros sauce with bbqd chicken and it was absolutely devine. My ears were ringing and I saw dods, but the taste was wonderful. I needed ice cream to follow that dish.

My mum used to do hers in deep based saucepan and oil and then drain on kitchen paper.

re 519 - Since you put it that way, it came to my mind that the obvious answer is the Bushes helped McCain in Florida. We’ve heard that Dubya was irked at Mitt for his immigration stance. Jeb and W hold some sway in the Sunshine state.

I can understand Martinez and Crist backing McCain, but Ros-Lleitenin is really disappointing. I think she is a fabulous spokesperson for conservative issues.

It seems like the GOP is committing a slow suicide by stupidity.

Who was instrumental in encouraging them to all vote together and all but coerce the massive Cuban vote in Dade county to go for McCain a huge way. Who was instrumental in basically engineering the vote away from Mitt Romney, a man of immense character and ability, to a man almost hated by much of the party's conservatives.

I spent four days each in FL and SC driving almost 2000 miles dogging the McCain campaign protesting against amensty. We had panel trucks with signs stating McCain=Amnesty as well as tee shirts as part of the Amnesty Truth Squad. In most places, people understood that this was a pejorative message. However in South Florida we had folks approaching our truck giving us a thumbs up because they believed that we were SUPPORTING McCain. They asked for bumper stickers and tee shirts until we showed them our Stop McCain's Amnesty signs. They then gave us a thumbs down. LOL.

McCain beat Romney among Latino voters in Miami-Dade and Broward counties by 5 to 1, which gave him about 90% of his total victory margin in the state. Cuban-Americans are reliable conservative Reps, but when it comes to immigration, blood is thicker than water.
