Stop the [homosexual] sex, save the park [Jordan Lake, NC]

When Frank Braswell saw the story about a section of Jordan Lake park being closed because of sexual shenanigans in the bushes, he had to read it several times before it sank in. It was surprising enough that the area had become a hot spot for gay men seeking quick hookups -- the Triangle's version of an infamous men's room in the Minneapolis airport. Jordan Lake, on the border of Chatham and Orange counties, is just a bit more remote than an international air terminal.

Jordan Lake is close to where I live. Many families with children use this lake for boating and recreation. This is very disturbing, but not surprising given that Chapel Hill is in close proximity on the other side of the Lake.

When I was in High school, Jordan Lake used to be where people would go when skipping school.

The North Carolina ping list would likely be very interested in this story especially if they live in close proximity to the Triangle area.

Celebrate Diversity!
This reminds me of a news story about a family that went to a park one morning and found a guy handcuffed to a tree, wearing no pants, and had a bottle or something stuck up his rear.
Just normal behavior that we should all embrace, right? I wonder how the parents explained THAT to their kids.

Cry “rape” and taser them?

I could very well be one of those parents. I use Jordan Lake lake for boating and recreation w/ my kids...[or might avoid it now and use one of the other lakes in the area]....

Well, just imagine a Shrillary presidency where people are arrested for the hate crime of not allowing their children to be indoctrinated in public schools to the various “lifestyles” out there!

One of the "equal rights" the perverts want. The right to practice their perversion any where they please.

At twilight, the gays meet up at the Marine Memorial at Arlington and bare-back each other. They need to close that one!

At twilight, the gays meet up at the Marine Memorial at Arlington and bare-back each other. You're talking about queers, right?

Yup. I lived on Ft. Myer, Va. right on top of the hill from the cemetery and that’s what you’d find if you venture there in the evening.

In the good old days a group of family men with axe handles would have taken care of the problem in one day. Now they surrender parks to perverts.

As one who paddles frequently on that lake, I thank you. That’s a brilliant idea - and good fun too, I’m sure.

"When I was in High school, Jordan Lake used to be where people would go when skipping school." As I understand it, the current problems all began when a hearing impaired homosexual misunderstood some local students talking about going there to get some peace from class.
