We're in bull's-eye, expert says
Winter-weary Wisconsinites could rightly grouse about La Niña, or complain about devilish upper-level air patterns, as they prepare for yet another snowstorm, one predicted to pile another 10 inches on already snowbound areas.

Push some of that stuff down to western Virginia. We haven’t had a decent snow in three or four years.

Here in North-central Illinois we may dodge the brunt of it. We may be headed back into the weather patterns of 25-30 years ago. So much for GW (except to those invested in its success).

I switched schedules today with my boss. She drives in from Columbus and is a total 'Nervous Nelly' about driving in snow...even with her SUV, LOL!
I'm doing the state a favor by keeping her off the road as much as possible these next few days.
It's actually bright and sunny here this morning...but a big change is coming. ;)

It’s raining here in Massachusetts. I wore an unlined raincoat to the polls.

I am taking a night class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can count on one hand the number of nights where there wasn’t considerable snowfall/sleet or ice to deal with. Makes for a VERY long night! I don’t even need to look at the forecast anymore-if it’s Tuesday—it’s snowing

Push some of that stuff down to western Virginia. Send some to SW Colorado, too. We're going skiing in three weeks......6"-8" of fresh powder would be very nice.....

was in 7th heaven in his new home—colorado.
the low dew point evaporates snow,

Seems like those SUVs and minivans are what you most often see upside down in the median strip. Keep those morons off the road. They have no idea how to drive. It’s either one extreme or the other.

You're right - we've been spoiled for a very long time. I tell my kids that we NEVER saw the grass from Oct or Nov all the way through April.
The one thing that's been fortunate this year is we've had a significant melt after each big snow.

---snow in Wisconsin in February--my, my--Nice thought but, if you'd been living here for the past few decades, you'd know it's been many, many years since we've had a season of snowfall like this one.
We'd already shoveled what seemed like an entire season's worth by the end of December.

Actually, I’d like some snow. I am currently under one of those green blobs crossing PA right now (nasty, nasty thunder and lightening...in February?!?!?!?!)
