Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, had 59% of the vote with 3% of the towns holding caucuses reporting. Ron Paul trailed with 19%, John McCain had 18%, and Mike Huckabee and undecided votes each had about 2%.

how long have you “personally” known RINO Romney ????
All right, Paul still beating McCain!
Ron Paul is closing in on Romney. :-)))
Cool!
I’m not totally a “Mittster”, but I can’t STAND McCain.
I need to be convinced that Mitt will govern as a conservative before I vote. :D
Lord give him strength to crush them all with wisdom.

Equating RINO Romney with wisdom ??????
Darn you have a high level of faith
LOL
Looks like the true Republicans are being ignored by the leftist media and the RINOs on FoxNews just like Wyoming! Looks like Maine's 21 delegates will go to Romney!
True but with 3% of the vote in this isn’t an exact science.
It would be nice if McCain were to get his butt kicked up ther after all the talk of Romney losing near his home base.
I’d love to see the know it all lower than whale poop media explain again how they could be so wrong.
I’m not going to get my hopes up yet.
I thought all the talk was that Maine was going to go McCain, and that would hurt Romney. Wasn’t that the line they’ve been peddling, the media et al?
WHERE IS THE NEWS OUTLETS?
with all the agonizing about “the race” and the reporting of McCain has it in the bag, you you think this would be reported on such a slow news day.
My research results in my opinion forming in my brain.
I was asking for the posters who were against Mitt to tell me on what facts they formed their opinion. “He’s a liar”, requires the example of a lie he has told.
“He ruined Massachusetts” is an example, but I don’t know HOW!
I am off this thread now. I will continue to support Mitt Romney, because I do not have the same negative FEELINGS regarding him that others do. I happen to have positive feelings based on his public record.
I did not know there was voting today!!
When I said I think he's a good man personally I didn't mean that I personally know him, but that I believe he's a good, decent family man.
I’ll trust Santorum on this one,

Senator Rick Santorum
“The Laura Ingraham Show”
February 1, 2008
Senator Rick Santorum: “I spent an hour and a half with Mitt Romney about five, six months ago. And, we spent an hour and a half. As you know, I’m at Ethics and Public Policy and I’m working on the Jihad issue. And I spent an hour and a half with this guy and I can tell you, he understands it. We talked almost all that hour and a half about Iran. He was not only curious, but had some very interesting insights and ideas. He understands the national security piece. I walked away from there saying, ‘Ok, I can check that box. This guy really gets it. He understands it. He has a depth of knowledge about it.’ He knows what it means to be a Commander-in-Chief under these circumstances, as John McCain effectively does in fighting the war overseas. But just as importantly is fighting the war here at home, where John McCain has had a horrible record in protecting us here at home.”
Laura Ingraham: “Well Senator, you’re on a roll, you’re on a roll right now.”
Senator Santorum: “If you’re a conservative, there really is only one place to go right now. I would even argue farther than that. If you’re a Republican, if you’re a Republican in the broadest sense, there is only one place to go right now and that’s Mitt Romney.”

Does the name Specter the traitor, the person to whom Santorum last pandered to, revive any pertinent memories for you? Or is that so easily discounted, also?

LOL, you’re on to something there aren’t you.
Bad news for them evidently.
Just got a recorded message from Senator Rick Santorum, supporting Romney here in Glendale, California.
He touched on McCain’s record, no support for tax cuts, joining Ted Kennedy to propose what some folks think of as amnesty, and opposition to a marriage amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Received a recorded message from Romeny yesterday evening. It was a pretty good message.
I got yet another call from the Hillary campaign. They want my vote Tuesday. Either they are really well organized or their campaign is screwed up since they are calling people like me who can’t vote in Demo primaries.
Meanwhile I have not gotten a single call or mailing from any of the Republican candidates.
Paul beat McCain in Nevada, as well...funny how the pro-McCain media keeps quiet about the results when McCain chokes, isn't it?
