If the general election is McCain or Obama .
You can vote for one of those two, not vote for President, write in (which is the same as not voting), or vote third party
I will NEVER vote for McCain, you can take that to the bank! If you feel the same way, that leaves us with: Dont vote, Write in, third party or OBAMA
Not voting buys me nothing, write in or third party may make me feel a little better but unless the third part ticket is FRED/DUNCAN I dont see myself going that route... But Im toying with voting for OBAMA.
I realize I will be banned from the Freeper convention but hear me out .
Instead of not voting for McCain, I would get the sheer pleasure of voting AGAINEST HIM! It makes me warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. Now Ive said over and over on this forum that I will never vote for the lesser of two evils again, because our evil gets more evil every election because we keep voting for them. The same people screaming vote for Mitt to stop McCain will be screaming vote for McCain to stop Hillary/Obama. But I wouldnt be voting for the lesser of two evils, I would be voting FOR the first African American president! Obama will beat McCain in a landslide in the general election anyway because the liberals and independents that have supported him will all vote for Obama, so my voting for Obama will be meaningless except for two things.
1 Revenge on McCain for all the crap he has pulled on conservatives over the years.
2 Statistics yep, all the numbers that will be quoted over the years about the Obama victory. How many white males voted for Obama How many Republicans voted for Obama How many conservatives voted for Obama How many Rebel Flag flyers voted for Obama
The bigger the Obama victory, the weaker the race card will be in all future elections. The next time a liberal implies that my rebel flag is racist, Ill say Im not racist, I voted for Obama. Ill get to drive around with my Obama bumper sticker for 8 years. Maybe the next African American I get to vote for will be a conservative republican like J.C. Watts or Mike Steele. Until then I think Conservatives for Obama has a nice ring to it
.
let me f\review some things y’all have forgotten form the Demo side last time they were in power:
Assault Weapon Ban
Gun rights as a medical issue under the control of the Surgeon General
Ammo as hazardous waste.
Access to Federal Parks banned to those who were not environmentalists.
A promised Middle class tax cut that was 86’d before Clnton even took office.
Big taxes, new ones.
Get your heads straight, we are dealing with the same people.
I think I win on coining the phrase “Conservatives for Obama”

I’m gonna start a new group:
Conservatives for Obama
"Goodbye, my little Pretties!"
I'll cross the November bridge in November...
For now, I see Obama as nutritious whole wheat, from the Land of Lincoln...and possible Great Emancipator (freeing me of the Clintons for the rest of my life...)!
You know, the country’s going to hell in a handbasket. The way it currently looks, who we elect will only determine the speed at which we progress.
I am thinking clearly..
Which ever party wins the presidency, there is a greater likelyhood of people voting for that party’s congressional candidates.
You might not like it but that’s what normally happens
It’s a simple analysis. Who’s liberal agenda will the GOP be more likely to oppose? McCain’s or Obama’s? I think that the answer is obvious. The GOP will fight tooth and nail against anything Obama wants to do to this country. On the other hand, McCain could propose the exact, same agenda and they’d roll over for him because “He’s our guy”. If it comes down to it, I’ll vote for gridlock in November.
President Obabama is a terrifying thought. Worse than Hillary - and that ain’t easy.
There won’t be much gridlock if a landslide sweeps the Dems to 60 votes in the Senate . . . .
I’d be disgusted, but yes, I would vote for McCain.
Right on, Juan McCain cannot win!
What is it with women and Hussein?
I agree.
I do not know any other way to get the point across to the RNC.
If Fred/Duncan ran as a 3rd party ticket against say McCain/Huck and whoever the Dems throw out there, I could easily see a scenario where Fred/Duncan got upwards of 20% of the vote, even though their money would be very limited vs the two BIG parties, just based on debate performances.
Nor will there be any gridlock of McCain’s in office after said Democrat landslide. I don’t see how the situation would be any different.
We desperately need “None of the Above” on our ballots.
I would never encourage anyone to vote for Obama or Hillary.
I can’t support our own choices, but that doesn’t mean I’ll cast a vote for the other team.
I can’t help what I am presented with that I cannot support, but I can help from voting for the likes of the other two.
” But Im toying with voting for OBAMA.”
LOL
Nose, face, knife.
You connect the dots.
This is a case where third party would not be a wasted vote. The higher the vote count on the third party, the lower the vote count of the eventual winner and the higher the indicator of conservative displeasure.
If Obama wins she cannot run again until 2016 as Obama would become the nominee again in 2012...she would be simply too old and haggard in 2016....ewwww
If Clinton is the nominee then McPain can win because there is likely a mountain of dirt that will be trotted out to tarnish her....there are probably vaults full of scandal being held for the proper time. If she gets the nomination she will probably have offended a chunk of the black vote and they will sit out the election. Then there is the fact that she is probably the only thing that will drive republicans and independents to the polls....to vote against her.
We just may end up with McPain as our unstable and spiteful president.... if so we will be damn lucky to avoid WW3.
