They have an idiot partisan Senator named Patrick Leahy that feels it is his position that if you do not subscribe to his liberal views then you are obviously breaking the law and should be held accountable...

My ancestor Timothy Church was a Lt. Col in the Revolutionary War. He was born and raised in Brattleboro and he in turn raised most of his kids there. After the war he was run out of Vermont by Ethan Allen and his family in a massive land grab. His son Reuben Church was one of Ethan Allen’s Green Mountian Boys, and after the war he was run out too. Wound up in Canada.
It seems the Allens repopulated the State with inbred chowderheads.
It is not ALL of Vermont. Some parts are more conservative, but they don't make the news.
